  8. Welcome to the 1998 version of CLI-Tracker.
  9.  
  10. CLI-Tracker is (yet another) player for ProTracker modules and some clones.
  11. It has the following features:
  12.  
  13. * Can load and save modules
  14. * Displays comments
  15. * Has a volume slider
  16. * Uses XPK for both loading and saving
  17. * Tries to fix corrupted modules
  18. * Can be opened on any Public screen
  19. * Displays samplenames
  20. * Uses PTReplay.library to get around incompatibility problems with some replayers
  21. * lots more

  23. Since the documentation is not ready it is not included in this release.
  24. I'll try to give a short tutorial.

  26. CLI-Tracker is a CLI-based utility. It has the following template:
  27.  
  28. FILE/K, PUBSCREEN/K, XPK/S, XPKMETHOD/K
  29.  
  30. /K is a keyword
  31. /S is a switch
  32.  
  33. FILE - Guess what... If this is not specified CLI-Tracker98 opens a nice
  34.          requester.
  35.  
  36. PUBSCREEN - An optional public screen to open CLI-Tracker98's window.
  37.                 (Must be present, ofcourse)
  38.  
  39. XPK - Use XPK for saving, or not
  40.  
  41. XPKMETHOD - Which compression library to use. (Default is SQSH)
  42.                 This MUST be a 4-letter CAPITALISED word, like "NUKE" but not "nuke"

  46. To open the module "dh1:mods/guitar.mod" on the screen "DOPUS.1" with
  47. XPK on and SHRINK as packer use:
