- ±41This article is written as a response
- to the dicussion which has taken place
- in Resident #2 and in Top Secret #15.
-
- Scourger/Destiny writes in his article
- "No satanism in the scene" (in Top
- Secret #15) a lot of this which I feel
- I have to react to.
-
- First of all he says that satanic
- symbols in productions such as "Demon
- Download" from TSL are just made
- because they look nice. Yes, I agree
- with that. But later on he tries to
- make a lot of silly attempts to say
- that satanism in the scene shouldn't
- occur, and that he and his fellow
- "Satanic Rites - writers" are atheists
- and so on.
-
- One thing you have to realise is that
- christianity and satanism are two
- things of the same kind. Neither
- religion would exist without the
- other. And by stating that I mean
- that satanism is in fact a religion.
- If a person is declaring himself as a
- christian-believer, he does so because
- he believes that EVERYTHING in the
- bible is truth. And the bible spends
- a lot of time writing about the "dark
- forces" including names such as
- Belzebub, Satan or perhaps Bel Marduk.
- All these names belong to the devil,
- or the dark forces of evil if you
- wish.
-
- " - If you believe in the light, it's
- because of obscurity, if you believe
- in happiness it's because of
- unhappiness, if you believe in god,
- then you have to believe in the
- devil." - Father X - Exorcist, Church
- of Notre Dame, Paris.
-
- What I'm trying to say here is that if
- someone in the scene wants to make
- productions which shows what religion
- they have - let them do so! I think
- that if "Demon Download" from The
- Silents was entitled something like
- "Jesus was a holy man" and using loads
- of symbols from the christian-belief I
- think you wouldn't have reacted to it.
- What right have you, Scourger, to
- forbidd other peoples beliefs and
- religions? Because you judge other
- people on behalf of their religion I
- say you are no better than an average
- rascist.
-
- Personally I think that both religion
- and politics (such as in Interactive
- and Alcatraz's Anti Fascism
- productions) have no place in the
- scene. The scene should be a place to
- enjoy oneself, but if someone wants to
- mix propaganda about religion or
- politics in their productions or
- articles I say: Why not just let
- them?
-
- Satanists has the right to be envolved
- in the scene just as christians,
- buddhists and muslisms have.
