  9. ±21Please  start by stating your age, and
  10. suply  us  with  some facts about your
  11. birth,  for  instance at which factory
  12. you were born.
  13.  
  14. ±22-  I'm  probably  one  of  the oldest,
  15. still   working,   diskette's  in  the
  16. world.   I'm  of  a rare, high-quality
  17. brand,  with  very  high  density  and
  18. lifetime-warranty.  I saw the light of
  19. day  at  an  assembly-line  in  Seoul,
  20. South-Korea, in the year of 1988.
  21. ±21How   do   you   look  upon  yourself,
  22. compared  to  for  instance  a NoNamed
  23. "bulk" diskette?
  24.  
  25. ±22-   Well,  one  can  actually  make  a
  26. comparison   with   the   "levels"  of
  27. society   in   with  humans  live.   A
  28. HD-SONY-double  density  diskette with
  29. lifetime-warranty   such   as  myself,
  30. could   easily   be  compared  with  a
  31. wealthy  person in the overclass.  The
  32. NoNamed  "bulk"'s as you say, are of a
  33. much  poorer  quality, with a lifetime
  34. limited  to only a few formates.  Some
  35. are even born dead(!) They reflect the
  36. living quality of a drunk, poor and in
  37. some  cases dead, person living in the
  38. gutter.
  39.  
  40. ±21I  understand  that  during  your very
  41. eventfull   life  you  have  contained
  42. numerous   different   variations   of
  43. binary-codes.   What  is your personal
  44. relationship  with  these figures, and
  45. have   you   any   special   favourite
  46. combinations?

  48. ±22-  I  have  a very strong relationship
  49. with  the contents of mine, of course!
  50. Personally,    I    like   the   first
  51. combination  I  ever  wore.   It was a
  52. combination which, when dechiffered by
  53. the  Amiga  500, resulted in a classic
  54. demo   from  Scoopex  entitled  Mental
  55. Hangover.   Due to the extreme quality
  56. (at  that time) this demo reflected, I
  57. actually  carried that combination for
  58. two  years!   One of the reasons why I
  59. have  never bugged and made error's is
  60. that  I  have  been honoured by always
  61. carrying  quality  bytes in my tracks.
  62. The      fact      that      I'm     a
  63. "lifetime-warranty"  disk  is  only  a
  64. gimmic  by  the producers to sell more
  65. of  us.   If  a  disk is being written
  66. with bytes from a lousy demo, or game,
  67. or  utility  for  that  matter, it may
  68. very well commit suicide!

  70. ±21Have   you   ever  experienced  lethal
  71. accidents,  such loss of your shutter,
  72. dust  or  dirt  at your magnetfield or
  73. other physcical damages?

  75. ±22-   Yes,   I   remember  one  time  in
  76. particular.    I   was  working  as  a
  77. swap-disk for a guy who swapped a lot.
  78. In   order  to  buy  fewer  stamps  he
  79. disabled   me   and   my  brothers  by
  80. removing  our  shutters.  Luckily, his
  81. contact  who  recieved  me fixed me by
  82. conducting  a  rescue-operation.   I'm
  83. now wearing a protese!

  85. ±21What's    your    relationship    with
  86. diskdrives?    Do   you   favour   one
  87. load-system  more  than  another,  e.g
  88. track-loaders       before      normal
  89. dos-loaders?

  91. ±22-  Over  the  years  some loaders have
  92. really  pissed  me off.  Some ignorant
  93. coders  have made trackloaders who are
  94. very  uncomfortable for me.  Normally,
  95. I    feel   a   sensation   when   the
  96. diskdrive-pickup  steps  from track to
  97. track,   but  with  some  of  the  bad
  98. trackloader-systems    I    get   deep
  99. scratches  and  marks  all over.  This
  100. will eventually kill me!        ±33 -End.
