  5. successfully  launched, after taken in
  6. consideration  that  we  had extremely
  7. few  articles  to  present.   Headline
  8. issue  #2 is more like what we want to
  9. be  able  to  present from now on.  We
  10. have  been  getting  ±12good support×, and
  11. it's  the support that keeps a diskmag
  12. going and growing.  But to issue #3 we
  13. hope  to  receive  even  ±13more support×.
  14. Our  goals are many, but in general to
  15. be  a solid, trusted and great diskmag
  16. in the scene.
  17. But  our goals will depend on you!  So
  18. we  want  YOU  to  keep  on supporting
  19. articles,      clip-arts,     modules,
  20. advertisments  and ideas to a mag that
  21. you can count on.

  23. This   edition  of  Headline  features
  24. quite  some  ±12improvments×  in the code.
  25. For  instance  is  the old textroutine
  26. completely  been  exchanged by another
  27. better  one.   This  new  one  is also
  28. devoloped   by   myself   (Coke)   and
  29. supports   proportional  large  fonts.
  30. This  you may have already discovered,
  31. hope  you like it.  The textroutine is
  32. also  been  made so it may display all
  33. kinds  of  other  different  graphical
  34. implementations.   Like  for  instance
  35. the   smileys  used  in  the  reviews.
  36. Another   small   finess  included  is
  37. better   (but  slower)  fading.   I've
  38. called  this  R-G-B fading, because it
  39. fades   each   of   these  main  color
  40. contrasts seperately every frame.  The
  41. result  is  a  much  smoother  fading.
  42. I've  also  added  the  option to load
  43. graphic   images   and  display  them.
  44. Unfortunately you can only display one
  45. screen  when  this  is done due to the
  46. high  demand  of memory - the price to
  47. pay    for   having   this   kind   of
  48. screen-scrolling.
