  5. Here  is  a  Pinball  game  that takes
  6. arcade    or    pub   pinball   as   a
  7. foundation...   and  ignores  it using
  8. the computer!

  10. This is a pinball game much like other
  11. pinball games,  except  it is not like
  12. your  average  pinball game.  This one
  13. is  played  over  three  time  zones -
  14. PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE.  For a first
  15. release this is an incredible game, so
  16. I  will  tell  you about each table in
  17. turn.  Here we go.....

  21. Not  the  best looking table I`ve ever
  22. seen  but  smart  all  the same.  This
  23. table is set in prehistoric times with
  24. a  couple  of  dinos,  a waterfall and
  25.

  29. club flippers to name but a few things
  30. on  this  well  spaced out table.  The
  31. aim is to send five timepieces back to
  32. their own civilizations.

  36. A large paper box with a gift in.  No!
  37. No!   I don`t think so.  This table is
  38. split into a soccer stadium, fast food
  39. emporium  and  a  communications  area
  40. with  the  use  of elastic, smiley and
  41. multi-ball.

  45. You can't trust these arty-farty types
  46. with  real  work,  can ya!  So I guess

  51. I'm  sorry I can't shed any more light
  52. on  what  this  table  features  than:
  53. It's  all  a  bit  new  and set in the
  54. future!   Err...   well,  I  have only
  55. played  on Gobliiin's copy of the game
  56. for   ten  minutes,  so  what  do  you
  57. expect!

  61. Pinball  Prelude  was developed and is
  62. marketed  by  Effigy  Software, and is
  63. their   first   release.   As  far  as
  64. flippin'   ball  games  go  (geddit!),
  65. Pinball  Prelude  lacks  the polish of
  66. Digital  Illusion's  Pinball Fantasies
  67. or  Pinball  Illusions,  but I've have
  68. yet  to  see the AGA version in action
  69. so I'll reserve judgement on that.  It
  70. makes   up  for  this  in  originality
  71. though.   Whereas  a large majority of
  72. other   computer  pinball  simulations
  73. take inspiration from actual machines,
  74. Pinball    Prelude    includes    some
  75. never-before-seen    features.     For
  76. example,  one  of the tables feature a
  77. mini  football pitch in which the ball
  78. can  be  entered  into play.  Okay, so
  79. they're   only   small  additions  but
  80. that's what makes all the difference.

  82. In my opinion, if you're looking for a
  83. decent   pinball  game  that's  a  bit
  84. different   from   the  rest,  Pinball
  85. Prelude  will  suit  you to a tee.  If
  86. you   want  something  totally  new...
  87. don't buy pinball games!

  89. I won't go as far as to give this game
  90. an overall rating as I don't feel I've
  91. spent   enough   time  playing  it  to
  92. justify that.
