  12. where  the Amiga scene is on the quiet
  13. side, but we've still got our hands on
  14. BREATHLESS,  VIRTUAL  KARTING, LEADING
  15. LAP  SE,  PINBALL  PRELUDE  and  ALIEN
  16. BREED 3D so all is not lost (yet!!).

  18. Having  just  passed  my  driving test
  19. first  time  and  then five days later
  20. having   my  21st  birthday.   I  have
  21. decided  as  soon  as  I get a car you
  22. will  be receiving interviews from the
  23. latest  conferences  and  so on.  Just
  24. remember  PowerTeK  are here for you -

  30. the  PD  buying public.  We don't know
  31. what you want, so help us out and tell
  32. us.   We  will  see  in  future Beyond
  33. Sanit-E's     and    other    PowerTeK
  34. productions what happens.

  36. We  at  PowerTeK feel you don't get to
  37. know much about the programmers of the
  38. games  you  buy  (at least we hope you
  39. buy  them).   So  I  am contacting the
  40. programmers   to   ask  them  a  great
  41. handful  of questions.  It starts this
  42. issue with an exclusive interview with
  43. EFFIGY   SOFTWARE   about   their  new
  44. release   -   PINBALL   PRELUDE  (also
  45. reviewed  this  issue)  amongst  other
  46. things.   Next issue an interview with
  47. WORMS   creator  -  Andy  Davidson  is
  48. planned and, hopefully, the creator of
  49. Microprose    Grand   Prix   -   GEOFF
  50. CRAMMOND.

  52. We have received a letter asking us if
  53. we could do a question and answer help
  54. page.    Yes,  is  the  answer  (Slade
  55. starts it this issue).  But we need to
  56. hear  your  questions on general Amiga
  57. problems.   Workbench,  Hardware, Etc,
  58. or your handy hints on how to run your
  59. Amiga  better.  The diskzine is new so
  60. don't just think "Oh, I`ll leave it to
  61. someone  else".   Please write, you're
  62. guaranteed a reply.

  64. We  are  also low on adverts so if you
  65. want  something  that  you  just can't
  66. find then let us know.  Stating if you
  67. want  a  quarter,  half  or  full page
  68. advert,  to be displayed in IFF grafix
  69. or   written   text   like   this   (a
  70. diagram/sketch  would  also be helpful
  71. but  not  compulsery),  and at present
  72. there is no fee, so let us know.
  73. The comic industry is quickly becoming
  74. a     strong    contender    in    our
  75. entertainment-revolving  lives.  So to
  76. help  you  out, I am in the process of
  77. aquiring  a  new  writer to the mag to
  78. give  us  some  "what's hot and what's
  79. not"  news  from  the world of fantasy
  80. comics,  T-shirts  and  trading cards.
  81. All  related  questions will be passed
  82. on  and answered in the next available
  83. issue.  Stay tuned to find out.

  85. LSD's Grapevine appears to have died a
  86. death   of  a  thousand  diskmags  (we
  87. assume).  The mag has not been seen or
  88. heard of for quite some time.  We hope
  89. you're still out there, even if you're
  90. A1200 only (bad move).  If you are out
  91. there  and reading this, please let us
  92. know.     You    may   of   been   our
  93. competition, but its always sad to see
  94. a  mag  of  your excellence go down to
  95. tube.

  97. As  with issue two, this issue and all
  98. future  issues  will try and bring you
  99. hot Amiga/console news and some rather
  100. cool  reviews,  including PLAYSTATION,
  101. JAGUAR,  3DO,  SNES and SATURN reviews
  102. to name but a few.

  104. We would also like some responce on if
  105. you  would like to buy SPECIAL EDITION
  106. PowerTeK T-shirts.  We would like some
  107. responce  before  we get them printed.
  108. The  price  will  be  around five quid
  109. each  (with  a  quid  P&P).  So let us
  110. know.   We ain't mind readers ya know!
  111. Also  we  have  been  tinkering around
  112. with  the  idea  of a subscription, so
  113. you  get  the  mag  a  couple  of days
  114. before   the  official  release  date.
  115. Anyway let us know.

  117. Finally,  we have had news that FUTURE
  118. PD  may like to sponsor a GRAPHICS and
  119. WRITING  competition.  The prizes will
  120. be  PD  warez from FUTURE PD, but more
  121. about that on the news page.  So let's
  122. have   some   mouse  banging  and  key
  123. pushing...   or  should  that  be  the
  124. other way around???
