This is a report on a ufo that I along with 2 other
individuals  saw in clear daylight on the 2nd
Friday of October in 1988.

As most things that happen in life not much in the past
had prepared me for the event that happened on that Friday after  noon.
As the story goes, it was a Friday evening around lunch in my    home
town. I live in a small town in Southwest Miss buy the name of Natchez,
Old indian name. Its located approximately 90 miles north of Baton Rouge,
La.
on the Miss River. There are approximately 20,000 residents in the
community, basicly we are an agricultural community, there are some
plants, mostly
timber,oil,farming. There is a nuclear power plant north of
our town approx 23 miles.
My sighting happened in the other direction south of
town approx 25 miles as the crow flies.
It was the 2nd weekend of the Bow and Arrow hunting season for
Deer in Miss. Its something I've enjoyed since I was a teenager
and have hunted on this place since 7 yrs old.
That Friday I'd left Natchez and proceeded South on U.S. high-
way 61 to Woodville, Ms. Thats approx 35 miles south, then
you go west to a little town called Fort Adams, Ms. At that
point the blacktop ends and its gravel and dirt or mud for
another 17 miles to our hunting club.
You have to drive in almost a circle to get there because or
the smaller rivers and canals south of town.

That Friday was nothing special, just getting into the hunting
so to speak. I got to the camp kind of late, around 3:30 or
so in the afternoon. Decided to take a stand I had put in a tree
not far from the house on the river bank. I'd say approx 400
yards or so. The stand was in a bottle neck of trees that was
approx 100 yards from the river and approx 400 yards from the
house. BTW, the house and this land is in a low lying area
most would call it swamp land, although in years past they
have had excellent bean and cotton crops. That year there
were soybeans in front of the camp house. The camp house is
built on a 17 foot high mound of dirt. The old camphouse
burned down in a fire a couple years before. The older members decided
to do away with stilts and have the dirt mound constructed.

After I took the short ride to my stand area approx 300 yards
where I parked my 3 wheeler atc. I climed into the stand and sat
until approx 5:00. That particular day there had been a front
move through the area and left very low hanging clouds as an
overcast. It was solid cloud layer all up the river. I seem
to remember that you could see very clearly for miles looking


up the river. Something else that I noticed after the fact was
a young buck deer, a 3 pointer came by me about 75 yards between
me and the river on an old road bed. The deer was acting very
skiddish. I mean it was like the deer was frightned by someone
or something. It didnt strike me at first but later on It seemed
very odd. Like something was spooking that deer.
Well that was the only animal that I saw and around 5:00 ish got
down from the stand and walked the short distance to my atc.
It cranked instantly and I proceeded toward the camp.
As I was approaching the road to the camp I saw 2 other friends
drive buy on there atc bikes.

They were heading east, I was heading south away from the river.
The camphouse was east and south slightly from where we were.
The river was directly behind me and to the north.
At this stretch of the river it is almost east west in the main   channel.
As I approached the road
I'd say I was 80 yards behind them when they passed by. It was a little
rough on my road and
was going slow.
Well as I turned onto the main camp road I traveled approx 30 or
so yards east. My 2 friends were about 100 yards or more up
in front of me, at this point.
All of a sudden my atc quit! I mean just quit! I'm sitting there
wondering what the heck, when I noticed my 2 friends up in front,
one was pointing toward something toward the river.

Then I saw it. It was very large,and very incredible.
My first take, was hey, thats that big
mother ship set from the movie Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind.
I was still wondering and looking down for a second or 2 at my
bike trying to figure out what the heck had happened to it.
I had just that day picked it up from the repair shop for a
tuneup and it was running perfect earlier.

Well I had to look back and wow, it hit me.
At first when I though it was a fake ship, I was thinking that
someone was moving it for a movie or something. Then I realized
there was nothing underneath it. It was REAL!
For anyone that has ever seen such a vessel, its truly
remarkable what happens to you! All those dreams and thoughts
about space ships and such come to reality!

Now in my own mind WOW, that thing was REAL!

It was approx 400 yards from us, moving like in a hoover going
westerly very slowly. Maybe 10-15 miles per hour. I remember
there was this very power humm sound emmulating from it.
Another thing was the lights, there were red,white,amber,green,   and
bright blue. For some
reason the blue lights stuck in my
mind, I still dont know why. There also was this long object
attached to the I guess front of it. In plane english, it
looked like a boom of some type. It was I'd say approximately
1/3 or maybe even 1/2 as long as the vessel was wide.
On the end of the boom was a large taper up to what
appeared to be A U shapped fork.
The fork was up and down and had electricity
arking from tip to tip. This had to be the front
There were alot of other antennas and smaller booms
around it. I use booms to describe what I thought would
be simular to a large construction crane.
The vessel was circular in its  appearance. It seemed to have a saucer
type appearance but was
much more involved.
In the upper middle section there seemed
to be lots of windows with amber lights comming from inside.

On several occasions I seemed to remember a couple sets of
large eyes looking at me. I'm not sure about that, but there
was something there.  Its as if they were looking for me
or something or maybe they were sort of ideling along and just looking
around. I probably got a
telepathic message
but dont dont remember what. I do feel as though
I was contacted.
As it passed by it finally moved out of sight to the west in
behind the trees.

The area I saw it in was north of our camphouse and there is a
field that had at the time no appreciable timber there, it
had been killed by the flood waters from previous years and
you could see very clearly to the river. It was like looking
up a fire lane in some areas, only wider.

This entire event seemed to happen in slow motion. What was
actually 15-20 seconds seemed to last for hours.
Several days later I wondered about a dream I had something
but about those blue lights, and looking at my atc, and loss
of time but I'm still not sure about that part.

Well after it passed, it was still light, and I just
couldn't wait to tell someone and converse with my 2 friends
about it. I looked up the road, and they were driving on up
to the camp. I tried to crank my bike and it cranked instantly.
I drove to the kitchen door, shouting to my 2 friends, but
they had exited to there rooms out back. Anyway, I walked into
the kitchen, and I immediately see my Father and another old
friend of his across the room. I walked in and said Guess What?
I just saw a UFO!. Well the comment was like you want them
to know your crazy or something of the such.:-) I said if you
dont believe me ask my to friends.
He didnt want to hear anything about it. I said ok, Were is the
beer?
I walked to the frig, popped a bud and started to drink, and
wamm. Sonic boom hit the camp! Well we all rushed to the kitchen
door, which is on the east side of the building. Then one
after the other, jets, ours, I saw and counted 5. The first
one was a f-15 eagle, the rest were in different orders, seemed
liked an a-6, and what I think was a sr-71 blackbird,
and another f-15 and a f-14 tomcat. NOW, I'm sure that what I
had seen was real, the military was chasing it!
At this point I'll say that my dad is a retired navy pilot,
and an officer. He has flown jets and I soloed as a student
pilot the week I turned 16, Many years ago. I've read many
articles and learned alot of things about airplanes over my
life and feel very postive of these plane ids.
Looking back, its funny to see how trivial an sr-71 is after
seeing an object like the one I saw.

I'll stop at this point, but I will up info I've discovered
about this event after the fact at a later date.
I hope all of you who read this find it interesting, As I will
state on a stack of bibles it to be true to the best of my
memory.
