  10. For about a month, I have been working with a man in Sacramento,  CA, who 
  11. is involved in an ongoing case in the Sacramento area.  The man 
  12. has, since November, been regularly going to parts of Sacramento and Yolo 
  13. counties (almost nightly) and videotaping unusual objects and activities.  
  14.  
  15. These videotapes include:
  16.  
  17. 1.  Large, airborne triangular shaped objects, usually with three distinct
  18. lights (one at each corner), occasionally with additional, fainter lights 
  19. on what would be the leading edges of an aircraft fuselage.
  20.  
  21. 2.  Smaller triangular craft which appear to be 20 to 30 feet on each side.
  22. These craft are not equilateral triangles, they appear to be close to 
  23. isosceles triangles, but not quite.  These almost invariably have one
  24. light in each corner; one red, one white, and one medium blue.  They also 
  25. appear to have a fairly large, hemispherical "bubble" in the middle of the 
  26. triangular surface, which sometimes glows, getting extremely bright for 
  27. short periods.

  29. 3.  Orange-white spheres, which appear to be four to six feet in diameter, 
  30. and spinning rapidly on an axis which is perpendicular to the earth. In the
  31. video I have seen of these, they appear to stay close to the ground, to 
  32. hover, and to maneuver over an open, plowed field.

  34. 4.  Other paranormal phenomena, caused by the lights, or the intelligence 
  35. behind them, which includes making inanimate objects appear to be become 
  36. animate, such a making a large storage tank appear to turn into a giant frog.

  38. I have seen approximately three hours of Richard's video tapes.  He tells 
  39. me that he now has more than thirty hours of tapes, which increases 
  40. regularly as he goes out and shoots more pictures.  I have seen the first 
  41. three types of objects described above on tape and the descriptions of those 
  42. are my own account of what I have seen.  I have not seen the type 
  43. described at number 4, so that is his account, not mine, but I will also 
  44. add here that although these are fantastic claims, I know of another
  45. investigator who investigated a case last year of different individual who 
  46. allegedly saw the same types of "morphing" objects in approximately the same 
  47. area, and just this past week I encountered a woman with a very similar 
  48. account of activities in the Auburn, CA area.  The tapes, by the way, vary 
  49. in quality from good to poor.  A few are daylight, most are twilight or 
  50. nightime and much is void of fixed, ground reference points.

  52. The subject, Richard, is convinced that the phenomena "is working with him", 
  53. in that he feels he is led, intuitively, to whatever area in which they will 
  54. be active on any given evening.  He also claims that government agents are 
  55. trying to stop him and to take his tapes.  
  56.  
  57. Richard is not a particularly believable person.  He gets emotional and 
  58. is not particularly articulate.  I would have discounted his stories 
  59. completely if he did not have so much interesting video tape (and other 
  60. witnesses) to support his claims.  He is emotional, and his claims are, 
  61. indeed, fantastic, and yet he has shown me video tapes that support many 
  62. of his claims.  I did go out with him one evening between rainstorms, and 
  63. we saw only one airborn object that was unusual, and I can only say that 
  64. this one was at a considerable distance and did not appear to be marked in 
  65. accordance with FAA requirements.

  67. At this point Richard has basically refused to cooperate with any 
  68. investigator who will not help him publicize his experiences.  When I 
  69. described to him how the e-mail sysytem works, he asked that I do this for 
  70. him, to help him take his case to the public.  He feels compelled to 
  71. bring this information to any others who will listen, and so I have VERY 
  72. reluctantly agreed to bring this information out in this manner.

  74. Against my advice, Richard has asked that I put his phone number "on line"
