Anyway myself and milamber unloaded, · Axl of Exodus ² the hard drvie,my pioneer hifi and my amiga into the back of trexs car. Well here it is at last.This is my At around 8.15am we left to pick up 4th time doing this report as i quaid/asylum (ex-Exodus).Then at 8. seem to have lost the other 30am we were on the road for dublin versions. and the party place.We made one stop on the way up,in Cahir (I On sunday the 28th of march myself think).Myself and quaid tried to and milamber (who came all the way get some grog but they wouldnt give over from england for the party, us any before 10.30am and it was incidently) got up at about 7am.We now around 9.45am.Anyway we went had our gear packed way since the back to the exodus mobile and we night before,and all that was left continued to drive to our to do now was to pack it into my destination. old ladys car who was driving us to trexs place.At around 7.40am we At around 11am we arrived in dublin left for trexs place,at around 8am and 20mins later we found our way we arrived and much to my suprise i into the city centre,10-15mins later we found the party place, Myself and milamber set up the gear after many wrong turns.trex parked and i had a bit of a chat to the exodus mobile on a busy o Khul/Nerve Axis.We talked some code connel st.outside the royal dublin for a while and then went off.I hotel (The party place).Myself and made my way back to the Exodus set quaid/asylum went inside and found up,when i took a glance in the the party room,and i was greeted by mirror (see the photos,mirrors none other than everywhere) and i noticed Jay and Green-Beret/Submission (Who was one Polaris of Eclipse making their way of the main organisers). over to us."Here comes trouble"i said to trex.I wasnt quite sure Anyway there wasnt many dudes here what to expect from the lads after at that time,it was a bit early the stuff that happened between the though.Myself and quaid found 2 groups previous.Everything went pretty cool spot in the party room fine,handshakes all round.Of course and we went down and back out into good ol Jay had to mock us cos we o connell st.to collect our gear were from cork,but then hes from from trex who was doubly parked,i Dublin (Ahright Phil,good joke i thought i could smell shit,he was dont think,stay cool). shitting it in case he got caught, get it,never mind. I had a good ol chat with polaris for a bit,when we noticed these mean looking dudes.On asking fighter 3 was been released at the polaris did he konw them he replied party.Then as i was walking over he didnt.Then these dudes walked who walked in but Milena/Analog and over and started talking to Womble of Mdma (Now in Exodus) milamber who was going through some aling with Damien (Another french demos.The crazy thing with one of dude).I handed in Quaids entry for the dudes was he had 2inch pointed the gfx comp aswell as The nails and a cane with a silver head Graveyard Shift demo for the demo of a demon or something like that comp.A quick chat with tekknoid and on the top of it.Mental or what. i made my way over to the Analog Then good ol greenie (Sorry Barry,i set up which was pretty cool,an cant keep writing green-beret all A2000 and an A500."So Womble,whats the time,oh look i did it their, the analog demo like"i asked the last time though) made his way onto mighty womble.Womble being in a the stage to announce some shit. terrible shock after nearly being killed by monitors in the back of "Hand your entries for the demo,gfx the analog mobile said in a shaky and music comp to Tekknoid whos voice "Wait and see,wait and see." over in the corner."Yup sure enough tekknoid was over in the corner Jokingly i replied"Fuck that crap, swamped with lame little fuckin Youve no chance."Wait and see"said kids,who must have thought street a now very,far too confident womble. Half an hour later i was back at running on a 1meg,1.3 amiga.Thats the analog set up again taking a what the rules said.Thats what i look at their entry for the demo followed.You get the rules to comp.It was running on 2 amigas via follow them,not to break them.But serial link and it looked fairly then again thats life,and coming impressive running on 2 machines.No second wasnt bad.Now on with the major coding feats though although report. the vector going from 1 screen to the another was quite impressive.I As i was going down stairs to make knew then that it had won the demo a phone call to neutron,who was all comp,for 2 reasons.The name ANALOG the ways back in cork i met Dad and it looked very impressive 1916 and Hazzard of Quadriga.Quick running on 2 amigas.I thought the chat later and i was on the phone demo comp was to be on 1 standard 1. to neutron,who wasnt there,but his 3 amiga,not an A2000 and an A500,or sister jean was,who didnt seem to was that just my imagination,i realise i was calling from dublin,a think not. good 150 miles from cork.I had to hang up in the end cos the units on In future rules at party comps the call card were ticking down far should be kept,not broken.Now some too fast for my liking.I made my of you will think that im a sore way back into the hotel and loser but the graveyard shift was discovered that Quadriga had set up next to us.The gfx comp started and were back and the demo comp was myself and Dad 1916/Quadriga tried about to start.Myself and Khul to get a look see,but all the wished each other luck in a true little kids kept getting in the sporting manner and the crowd fuckin way.The gfx were of a very gathered for the best compo of the low standard except for Quaids day.First up was the Analog demo, brilliant A1200 AGA picture which which i got running but for some won the comp. reason it fucked up (No i didnt try to sabotage it just in case any Then the music comp started.Myself body thinks so,hi milena) anyway and Womble took a listen but we milena got it going and off it went soon backed away.The quality was running on 2 machines.Myself and very poor and the fact that the Green-Beret passed judgement and sound system wouldnt play it either agreeded it was very good for an didnt help matters.The live tekkno irish product.Then myself and khul band made an appearance.They werent couldnt decide who was going next bad,a lot of cover stuff though. but i grabbed me graveyard shift disk and shoved it into greenies Then myself and Quaid went off out drive and waited as it booted.After and down to McDonalds for some grub it finally loaded i talked greenie as we didnt have hardly nothing on and tekknoid through it.Alot of the way up.3/4s of an hour later we comments were passed through out the demo and they were all good, handshakes.I was pretty pissed off much to my delight.Then next up was that there was no prize for 2nd.50 the nerve axis intro which was quid should have been split up into unnamed followed by a very poor 3 prizes and Khul/Nerve Axis felt intro from quadriga who seemed to the same. have some problems with the code.20 minutes later the results were Anyway myself and womble made for announced. mcdonalds and it took us 20 minutes to get served,because we kept ¾1st place+50 quid:Deadlock by ² shouting smart remarks at the staff. ¾Analog Irl ² Back up to the hotel again and ·2nd place+0 quid (There should have² myself,trex and greenie started ·been prizes for 2nd+3rd) The ² work on the digitising for the ·Graveyard Shift by Exodus Irl ² slideshow of the party which was to be released at the party,but we ¾3rd Place:Intro by Nerve Axis ² couldnt find a video and greenies video camera had no freeze frame.We ·4th:Intro by Quadriga ² found a video after but it was too late.The tekkno band started up and I went over and congratulated Hokum/Eclipse and Milena/Analog and we exchanged Tekknoid/Submission came over and i showed them Psyced issue 2 and the relief.We made our way home and we Graveyard Shift.They both agreeded were back home for around 3.30am. that they were cool and psyced issue 2 went down brilliant.Thankx Overall the party was OK.Too many to jay and polaris for spreading kids and sunday clubs.Other that the Graveyard Shift and Psyced that twas fine.The band were also issue 2 everywhere,thanx dudes. very good. I went off for a few pints and came ¾ End. ² back and started talking to Dad 1916/Quadriga while blaring nirvana at full volume much to the annoyance to the band im sure.The time to pack up came and i was getting on a bit and had a game of Street Fighter 2 with Hokum/Eclipse. Packing away my gear i discovered my power supply was gone.Thinking it was nicked i panicked searching frantically.Jay and Tekknoid calmed me down and in the end i discovered trex had it in the car.What a
