- {E{5 I can remember that day as if it
- happened yesterday, the day I was
- about to start school. I had all
- kinds of imaginations of how it would
- be to start school, and which things I
- would like to learn. All fantasies of
- school had been bright ones, with nice
- pupils and nice teachers. When I
- finally got to school I found out that
- my schoolmates were all nice dudes,
- but I soon realised that my teacher
- wasn't... The first day she was nice
- to us all, maybe because all of our
- parents were there too.. After a
- couple of weeks she couldn't hide her
- true person any more, so she started
- to terrorize more and more. She
-
-
-
-
-
- didn't beat us or anything like that,
- but she didn't teach us anything at
- all. When I sometimes asked her how
- to spell a word or something, she
- said: Look in the dictionary. She
- didn't care for us like we wanted to,
- and one day she lost control
- completely. We could do what we
- wanted, for example scream and fight
- in the lessons and she didn't care.
- So I guess it was fun but no one
- really got to learn anything, except
- those who really tried hard and read
- books in the spare-time and did some
- maths when they had time left.
- Luckily enough I was one of them.. So
- finally we left the third grade and
- {tb{E{5got a new teacher, not that he was
- better than the previous one, not at
- all! Instead of being passive this
- old bull, really pushed us forward.
- We had homework every day, and since
- we weren't used to homeworks none of
- us really got along too well.. And
- things got rougher and rougher, for
- example if you didn't read your
- homework good enough, you risked being
- placed in front of the class, so that
- the other pupils could see how bad you
- were.. I guess that was why I always
- read my homework, I just couldn't cope
- standing there while everybody laughed
- at me. As that would be enough! No,
- more things were to come, and I don't
- mean good things either! Time is very
- important for every teacher, so
- therefore they will always get mad if
- you are one minute late. You always
- thought of excuses that sounded good,
- like: I have lost the key to my bike
- and therefore I'm late.. If your
- excuse was good enough you didn't have
- to suffer as much as if it wasn't.
- The teacher we had were often late,
- and when we asked him why he was late
- he just said: The principal wanted to
- see me. One more thing that the
- teachers like to do is to ask so hard
- questions that the pupil can't answer
- it. Our teacher used to ask such
- questions, and when the pupil couldn't
- answer it he laughed him/her right in
- the face and told the pupil that he
- was stupid, that made him feel more
- intelligent.

- {tb{C{7 Why?
-
- {E{5So now you've read this article, but
- why did I write it? The thing is that
- the children are the ones that will
- suffer, just because they are so small
- and don't have the guts to criticise
- the teacher. Of course, all teachers
- aren't like this, but many of the
- teachers that teach younger pupils are
- like this. If a person doesn't like
- screaming kids that person shouldn't
- become a teacher, but they never
- realise that they can't cope with
- children before it's too late..

- End.
