  9. This is the first disk in the Hacker's Chronicles. It contains
  10. Issue 1 of Phrack magazine.

  12. PHRACK is perhaps the "best" and most remembered phreakers and hackers
  13. magazine (indeed its name is derived from PHReaking & HACKing). It was THE
  14. source of information and news for many hackers during the 80's, and is
  15. stil going strong today. Whilst the information has perhaps diminished
  16. value today, it does offer a fascinating insight into the computer
  17. underground of the 1980's, the Golden Age of Computer Hacking.

  20. and Boxes. Telephony contains introductions to the telephone system, whilst
  21. Boxes has details of how to construct many different types of "boxes".
