  17. 1. Download the USB Drivers from the Com21 website and extract to a floppy disk or to a directory on your hard drive.
  18.  
  19. 2. If connected, detach USB cable between PC and cable modem USB interface.
  20.  
  21. 3. Plug in AC power.
  22.  
  23. 4. Plug in USB cable. The New Hardware Found dialog box will appear.
  24.  
  25. 5. When prompted for USB Driver files, browse to the directory or floppy disk where you extracted the files.
  26.  
  27. 5. If prompted to insert Windows CD, follow the on screen prompts to install any necessary Windows files.
  28.  
  29. 6. Follow the on screen prompts to install the driver.

  31. 7. Reboot the PC if asked.

  37. 1. Download the USB Drivers from the Com21 website and extract to a floppy disk or to a directory on your hard drive.

  39. 2. Right click on the My Computer icon on your desktop and select Properties.

  41. 3. Click on the Device Manager tab and then double click on Network Adapter.

  43. 4. Double click on the COM21 DP1110 USB Cable Modem.

  45. 5. Select the Driver tab and click the Update Driver button.
  46.  
  47. 6. At the Update Device Driver Wizard click the Next button.
  48.  
  49. 7. Select Search for a better driver and click the Next button.
  50.  
  51. 8. Select the location of the USB Driver you extracted and click the Next button.
  52.  
  53. 9. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete installation.

  55. 10. Reboot the PC if asked.
