  1. ICOART.ZIP "The Best Little Icon Art Gallery in Town"

  3. Icoart.zip now contains three libraries with 31 icons each.
  4.  
  5. These icons were originally created in Icondraw, Pbicon with
  6. Paintbrush, IKE icon editor, hDC Icon Designer and most recently Norton's
  7. Icon Editor. As a matter of fact all of icoart3 was created using
  8. Norton's Icon Editor.

  10. Having bought a new monitor I noticed how different some of the icons
  11. looked on my new monitor. I have adjusted some of the icons to look 
  12. good on my new monitor. Hopefully they will look good on yours too.

  14. For those of you who use Unicom and have the Norton Icon Editor - I have
  15. included a second Unicorn icon which you can swap with Unicom's icon to
  16. create the animation when Unicom is minimized and active.

  18. Those of you that are new to using icons :
  19. To change an icon in any of Program Manager's program groups - first 
  20. click on the icon you want to change then click on FILE, click on
  21. PROPERTIES and a dialog box appears. In the box, click on the 'change
  22. icon' button and another box appears. In this box in FILE NAME, type
  23. the complete path to the .nil file. eg. C:\windows\icons\iconart1.nil.
  24. You can now click on the view next button to scroll through the file
  25. and select the icon you want to use. Stop on the icon you want and 
  26. click 'OK' and 'OK' again to complete the change. To abort the process
  27. just click 'CANCEL' and 'CANCEL' again and no changes will be made.

  29. These icons are "egoware" and are free to all who wish to use them in 
  30. a non-commercial manner. All I ask is that you drop me a line on 
  31. Compuserve mail to tell me if you enjoy my art or if you don't.
