  8. DESK1 disables Windows's repainting of the desktop which leads to some amusing
  9. and bizarre visual effects.  DESK1 is the first in a series of desktop
  10. animation utilities.  I have others planned- some of which are of practical
  11. value and other (like this) that try to be amusing.  I would like to get your
  12. ideas on what you would like to see in desktop utilities for Windows.

  14. Operation is simple- just select the program.  Everything will appear to be
  15. normal until you move a window or an icon.  To unload DESK1 just run it once
  16. more.  Your screen will return to normal.

  18. This program is FreeWare.  Keep your money.  If you do like it (or even if
  19. you don't) please send me a note via CIS, MCI or regular mail.  I appreciate
  20. any comments, ideas, suggestions or criticisms.
