  10.   RED DIAVOLYATA, aka MLTI, ISKEY

  13.   This is a Russian virus and a copy was received in the West in
  14.   December 1990.

  16.   It contains the text:

  18.            "Eddie die somewhere in time!
  19.             This programm was written in the City of Prostokwashino
  20.             (C) 1990 RED DIAVOLYATA
  21.             Hello! MLTI!"

  23.   The reference to EDDIE is obviously a response to the Bulgarian
  24.   virus known as DARK AVENGER 1800 (or EDDIE) which contains the
  25.   message "Eddie lives ...  somwhere in time!"  and which has spread
  26.   very widely.

  28.   Red Diavolyata translates into 'Little Red Devil' whilst the name
  29.   Dark Avenger is, of course, synonymous with The Devil.

  31.   There is no City of Prostokwashino but there is said to be a famous
  32.   Russian film called Prostokwashino which features a village with
  33.   this name.

  35.   MLTI is an abbreviation of "Moskov'skij Lesotekhnischeskij Institut"
  36.   - the Noscow Forest Engineering Institute.
