  23. Virex is a comprehensive solution to the threat of DOS-based computer viruses.
  24. It detects the presence of viruses and repairs files infected by common
  25. viruses.  Once your computer is disinfected, Virex continuously monitors the

  27. Microsoft Windows and Novell networking software.

  31. VIRX is a detection-only version of VPCScan.  This version is fully
  32. functional in the detection of known viruses, but cannot repair infected
  33. files.  The VPCScan program examines individual files, directories, a single
  34. or series of floppy disks, and hard disks for the presence of over 300 known
  35. viruses.  VPCScan can repair files infected by many known viruses, including
  36. those believed to cause over 95% of PC infections.  Infected files can be
  37. repaired or removed, allowing the user to quickly return to business as usual.

  47. informs the user of any changes prior to execution.  Another TSR can alert

  52. actions(e.g., reading or writing to a file) that are legitimate and
