- KME -- Keyboard Mouse Emulator
- 5-25-86
-
- This program is designed to replace the MicroSoft(tm) mouse
- device driver (MOUSE.COM or MOUSE.SYS) when used with programs
- that only operate in TEXT mode. To install KME, simply type the
- command KME-M (for monochrome monitors) or KME-C (for color
- monitors) at the DOS prompt. If a mouse driver was previously
- loaded, it will be superseded by KME. (NOTE: KME will not work
- with SideKick(tm), and possibly not with other memory-resident
- programs.)
-
- When using a program that expects text-oriented mouse input, use
- the arrow keys to move the mouse cursor. The 'Home' key
- represents the left mouse button, the 'PgUp' Key the right mouse
- button, and the grey '-' key BOTH buttons depressed
- simultaneously. To toggle 'pass-through' mode -- during which
- the arrow, 'Home', 'PgUp' and '-' keys will be passed through to
- the operating program -- press ALT-NUMLOCK.
-
- As this program is in Beta-test form, it may not do everything
- perfectly. If possible, if you find a bug, please report it to
- me at the following addresses:

- A more complete version of this document file is in the works; it
- should be available shortly. It will contain explanation of each
- function supported by KME.
