- By the way one of the reasons I was looking into sed and
- adding the +n operation was to get sum information from
- uuendcoded files.

- I am enclosing a UNIX/BORLAND compatible uudecoder that
- I have been using. It handles most of the problems you mentioned
- and does checksum and size checks where possible and reports the
- sum values.

- If I ever get to see ship, I would be interested on how you
- handle checksums and/or verification of the data. I found the
- uu scheme to be fairly good.
