  10.     You have just obtained a copy of  SUPER*SEARCH  V1.4, a power packed 
  11.     (flexible) file location utility.

  13.     SUPER*SEARCH helps you to keep your file system in good order. If you 
  14.     misplace a file, SUPER*SEARCH will relentlessly track it down across 
  15.     multiple hard drives and partitions.  Advanced features such as search 
  16.     by DATE, SIZE, ATTRIBUTE, TEXT WORD, and PATTERN MATCH are standard. 
  17.     Built-in (smart) commands COPY, MOVE, or DELETE files that match your 
  18.     specification. A VERIFY feature lets you control the action on a 
  19.     file-by-file or all-at-once basis. Preset the program to your 
  20.     preferences for Colors, Drives to search, screen pause, and much more.

  22.     SUPER*SEARCH is friendly. A Context Sensitive Help facility will 
  23.     step in to help you with any command line problems. The HELP screen 
  24.     recaps available Options, Usage, and reports the current configuration.

  26.     Use SUPER*SEARCH to eliminate duplicate and obsolete files. Move files 
  27.     from directory to directory. Isolate files that were changed or created 
  28.     of a certain date or size range. Gather files across all drives to a 
  29.     directory (or floppy) of your choice. Determine what files were changed 
  30.     TODAY, YESTERDAY, or on any date (or date range). Combine the various 
  31.     date, size, etc features to conduct complex searches. The choices are 
  32.     up to you!

  81.     SUPER*SEARCH is easy to get running. Copy the file  SS.EXE  to a 
  82.     directory in your PATH. Type;

  89.     To print the user's manual type;

  93.     The manual is formatted for a page length of 66 lines. Be sure to set 
  94.     your printer to the top of form.

  99.     EXTRA! EXTRA!
  100.     =============
  101.     A last minute addition to the program did not make it into the 
  102.     user manual. The TODAY Option has been modified to accept a numeric 
  103.     parameter to be (subtracted) from the current date. This facilitates 
  104.     using the TODAY command to tell you about YESTERDAY (-1 day), a week 
  105.     ago from TODAY (-7 days) and so on.

  107.     The numeric modifier is entered in a NON STANDARD fashion when compared 
  108.     to all other SUPER*SEARCH Options. The following examples illustrate 
  109.     the proper way to use a  modified  TODAY Option;

  120.     REMEMBER, this is NOT the standard way to enter an Option with a 
  121.     parameter. See the manual for proper Usage of other Options.

  127.     EXE COMPRESSION
  128.     ===============
  129.     SUPER*SEARCH is aware of being compressed by utilities like LZEXE and 
  130.     PKLITE. While in this compressed state, the program will refuse to 
  131.     allow a CONFIGURATION operation. This is because the operation will 
  132.     fail and expand the file to nearly its original size. 
  133.  
  134.     However, don't let the above facts stop you from using SUPER*SEARCH in 
  135.     a compressed state. Once you decide on a setup you are comfortable 
  136.     with, the program will run fine as a 23k compressed file.  Indeed, at 
  137.     23k per copy, you can afford to have two or more copies of SUPER*SEARCH 
  138.     resident on your system. Each copy can be preset to have its own unique 
  139.     configuration prior to compression.
