-

-
- Summary of Changes:
-
- Ver. 2.1 May 1991
- -A bug in the recursive update of the .DRS file from
- nested subdirectories allowed the possibility of data
- loss in subdirectories below the main subdirectory -
- FIXED
- -Command Line Version allows you to invoke the SubZIP
- and SubUNZIP from within Batch files.
- -Improved colors for Monochrome displays.
-
- Ver. 2.0 April 1991
- -Due to many user suggested changes, I chose to number
- this as 2.0 as I feel it is a major release which
- includes:
- -New Point and Shoot Directory Navigation - allows easy
- movement to other subdirectories for processing.
- -SubZIP, SubUNZIP, and .DRS View now show all
- subdirectories available for processing when invoked, so
- you needn't remember which subdirectories were below you
- when typing in the name.
- -Disk Stats also now shows all subdirectories available
- to you for processing, relative to where you are in the
- Directory Tree.
- -Pressing ESC from the Main Menu will Exit the program.
- The ESC key's functions in other aspects of the program
- remains the same.
- -Support and questions may now be sent to me by e-mail on
- CompuServe.
-
- Ver. 1.2 March 1991
- -Because PKZIP creates a work file the same size as the
- file being updated, SubZIP will check to make sure there
- is sufficient space for the update process. This is to
- ensure that adding new or modified files to the .DRS file
- can be accomplished safely.
- -SubZIP now checks to make sure PKZIP, PKUNZIP, and LIST
- are in the current directory, or the DOS Path. If they
- are not, the program notifies the user and halts.
- -A new menu option, Disk Stats, gives the Current Logged
- Drive, the current subdirectory, and the disk space
- available on the logged drive.
- -Documentation for registered users, as of this version
- will be supplied on disk. The print file and the
- registration price are sufficiently small enough to
- justify on-disk documentation.
-
- Ver. 1.1 February 1991
- -First limited public release to local BBS's.
