  8. Directory lister & utility for ARC ARJ LZH LZS PAK ZIP ZOO.  Rewritten and
  9. redesigned in a different language from 2.43 (not simply translated).  User-
  10. configurable to display either ZIP- or LZH-style compression ratios.
  11. Listings may be sorted by Name, Extension, Date, Original size, Packed size,
  12. compression Ratio, or left Unsorted.  New option to supress listings
  13. completely.  Also includes a possibly one-time, limited, scrollable version
  14. of RView.

  18.   CompuServe:  IBMSYS/Lib 6                 - DBV120.ZIP
  19. Simple viewer for taking quick looks inside dBASE-compatible .DBF files in
  20. record & browse modes.  Does single-field, scan-across searches.  File
  21. header info, including field definitions, can be displayed either in
  22. interpreted (human-readable) format, or as hex bytes.  New:  A new switch
  23. has been added to enable field editing in record and browse modes.

  26.        TITLE:  ZIP Format View v1.10, 03/29/92
  27.   CompuServe:  IBMSYS/Lib 6                 - ZFV110.ZIP
  28. Allows you to see how a ZIP file is laid out on disk.  Uses windowing to
  29. step down to lower levels of detail.  Displays header offsets and most field
  30. values, including their interpretation.  Admittedly, this program isn't for
  31. everyone.  For the curious and those with a need to know, however, this
  32. program displays technical data on ZIP files that I haven't seen in any
  33. other program.  New:  Select files for viewing from a pop-up, scrollable
  34. directory window.  Updated for ZIP 2.0.

  36.     FILENAME:  CRC.EXE
  37.        TITLE:  Cyclic Redundancy Checker v1.20, 02/08/92
  38.   CompuServe:  IBMSYS/Lib 3                 - CRC120.ZIP
  39. Displays 16- and 32-bit CRC's of files or directory contents.  16-bit CRC
  40. same as for ARC, LZH, LZS, PAK and ZOO files.  32-bit CRC same as for ARJ
  41. and ZIP.  "CRC filespec" displays individual CRC's for the specified
  42. file(s).  "CRC path" displays accumulated CRC's of all files contained in
  43. the specified directory.  May be used to compare files/directories on
  44. physically separated machines, or to see if changes have occurred over time.
  45. New:  The functions of both CRC v1.14 and CRCDIR v1.00 have been combined
  46. into a single program.

  51. Files compressed with AXE, DIET, EXEPACK, ICE, LEXEM, LZEXE, PKLITE,
  52. SCRNCH, SHRINK & TINYPROG are displayed in the left window.  Uncompressed
  53. COM/EXE files are displayed in the right window.  Compress and uncompress
  54. individual and groups of files from within the program.  Navigate between
  55. drives/directories by pointing and shooting.  New:  Extends recognition of
  56. files compressed with LZEXE (hacked headers) and DIET (additional headers).

  59.        TITLE:  DirX Command-line lister v1.08, 01/01/92
  60.   CompuServe:  IBMSYS/Lib 6                 - DRXC10.ZIP
  61. Smaller, simpler version of DirX for when you just want a listing of
  62. compressed and uncompressed files.  Listing is redirectable to printer or
  63. file.  Mimicks DOS's DIR command, to an extent.  No sorting is performed.
  64. New:  Extends recognition of files compressed with LZEXE (hacked headers)
  65. and DIET (additional headers).

  68.        TITLE:  Cyclic Redundancy Checker v1.01, 08/25/91
  69.   CompuServe:  IBMPRO/Lib 5                 - CRC16.ZIP
  70. Contains two equivalent programs, written entirely in C and Modula-2,
  71. respectively, which display 16-bit CRC values of files specified from the
  72. command line.  This is the same 16-bit CRC used for ARC, LZH, LZS, PAK and
  73. ZOO files.  C and Modula-2 source included.  Minor revision from v1.00.

  76.        TITLE:  File Fix v3.01, 09/03/89
  77.   CompuServe:  IBMSYS/Lib 3                 - FIX301.ARC
  78. A binary editor which allows easy editing of any file regardless of
  79. attributes.  Searches available from within a file:  1) text search, with
  80. wildcard support and 2) byte search, which can find arbitrary sequences of
  81. bytes specified by the user, including nulls, machine code and binary data.
  82. Also includes a scroll bar indicating relative file position, file header
  83. support and 256-byte default records.

  86.        TITLE:  Directory Delete v1.24, 07/15/89
  87.   CompuServe:  IBMSYS/Lib 1, IBMPRO/Lib 5   - DDEL12.ARC
  88. This program will remove entire subdirectory trees from your hard disk -
  89. even those containing read-only, hidden and system files and directories.
  90. It will even delete the current directory.  The executable file for this
  91. version is significantly smaller than before.  Modula-2 source code
  92. included.
