  1. In version 1.12c I stripped out the BBS related options in VIEW.
  2. If you are using VIEW hooked to a BBS, keep version 1.11d of the view.
  3. 1.12-1.12b1 had problems, do not use them.

  5. The BBS stuff will come back next version under BBSVIEW and will probably
  6. be distributed seperately (still free of course).

  8. For anybody interested, I have been working on an ONLINE D&D game for OPUS.
  9. It is a considerable distance from being finished, but it is partially usuable
  10. right now.  The big thing missing is vast stretches of maps.  For those
  11. interested in Beta-testing it on their system, drop me a message and I will
  12. send you a copy (when it's ready) if you are running at 9600 baud.  You will
  13. need about 1/2 meg free on your HD for the initial versions, and probably about
  14. 2 megs for the first official release.  It also looks like it will need at
  15. least a few k of cache, otherwise it access the disk too often.  I
  16. recommend at least an AT class machine be used.  Turn maintenance does a
  17. healthy amount of internal computations.
