- CLEANER cleans non-ASCII and ASCII characters above 126 and NULLs from a file.
- Occassionally a downloaded text file picks up a mess of strange characters, or
- a wordprocessor will include some junk at the beginning or end of a file for
- filler or for some strange reason. This will clean out anything that is not a
- straight ASCII character. Whooppee. Make sure the upper ASCII codes in your
- file are not there for some purpose.
-
- For syntax, type CLEANER. A backup of the original file will be placed in .OLD.
