- &moi. is a package for MS-DOS and OS/2 which allows mail to be exchanged
- between a PC and any system using the UUCP "g" protocol (i.e. UNIX
- systems). It includes a UUCP command for binary transfers, but it
- currently does _not_ include USENET news support.

- The Archives

- &moi. is distributed in several .ZIP format archives, each with a name
- of the format of UUPCxxx#.ZIP, where 'xxx' are the last three digits of
- the release number, and '#' is a character denoting which archive it is.

- The different archives are as follows:

- UUPCxxxR is the required program archive, and includes the MS-DOS
- versions of the executable files needed to run &moi.,
- This is the only archive you need if you want read and deliver mail
- using the unmodified
- programs on MS-DOS, but you will normally want UUPCxxxO and UUPCxxxD as
- well.

- UUPCxxxO is the optional program archive, and includes the MS-DOS
- versions of additional executable files which support &moi..
- Programs are included to perform unattended polling of other systems,
- report &moi. status, copy binary files between systems, and a
- make the &moi. documents more readable on a terminal.

- UUPCxxx2 is the OS/2 required programs archive, and includes the OS/2
- versions of the executable programs found in the UUPCxxxR files.

- in. If several people share the same PC, then multiple PERSONAL.RC

- and receiving mail.

- UUXQT.COM processes requests received via UUCICO, invoking RMAIL.COM or
- other programs to process data. It should be run after each UUCICO.EXE
- invocation.

- viewing on a terminal. It's use is described above, and is optional.

- invoking UUXQT to process any files received; this permits unattended
