- Notes on Poker Square version 1.6 January 1992
- (C) SPETER Software, 1989-1992.
-
- PokerSq is a poker-like game, with two players playing 10 hands of poker
- at once, each player on a 5 x 5 board.
-
- ** For details refer to pokersq.doc
-
- Changes since version 1.3
- -------------------------
- * Restricted mouse to a player's own board.
- This makes it easier to see whose turn it is, since the mouse can only
- move within that players 5x5 board.
-
- * Added underscores in name entry.
- Player's names are limited to 15 characters, the underscores make it
- easier to see how long the name is.
-
- * Added session top-10.
- After playing the game for a while it becomes difficult to get into
- the top-10 list. The game now, not only displays the normal top-10
- list, it displays a separate list for the current game session!
-
- * Added yes/no to ESC-abort.
- ESC is used to abort the game. Previously if ESC was pressed the game
- imediately halted; now an "are you sure?" type prompt is displayed.
-
- * Added backspace-undo.
- The undo function can remove a card that has just been placed (in the
- wrong position). Press the backspace key or the right mouse button.
-
- * Mouse input improved.
- Before the mouse cursor is displayed, the program now waits until both
- mouse buttons have been released.
