- ! This is the control file for SPORTPAC - the SPORT Mail Compression Utility
- !
- ! This utility will create COMPRESSED packets of messages and files to
- ! the address(es) you designate at the end of this control file.
- ! SPORTPAC will automatically pack the message and files you create,
- ! change the FLO file and decompress any incoming compressed packets.
- !
- ! All packets bear the file extension .SPA, .SPL or .SPP which is assigned
- ! by SPORTPAC.
- !
- ! These packets will be deleted from your SPORT subdirectory after they
- ! are successfully sent, just like regular outgoing mail.
- !
- ! If SPORTPAC.EXE is present in the SPORT subdirectory, it will be run
- ! before each outgoing call.
- !
- ! In order to use this utility you need only tell SPORTPAC where your inbound
- ! mail area is located and EACH ADDRESS FOR WHICH MAIL SHOULD BE
- ! COMPRESSED.
- ! When specifying the node you must also specify the compression utility to
- ! be used according to the following key:
- !
- ! Methods Key
- ! A = ARCA/ARCE
- ! L = LHARC
- ! P = PKZIP/PKUNZIP
- !
- ! You must have the selected compression utility available somewhere on
- ! your path. These utilities are available from most Bulletin Boards.
- !
- ! First specify where your inbound mail directory is located.
- INBOUND C:\SPORT\INCOMING
- !
- ! Now specify an address and a method - separate by only one space.
