  5.   Hello, and welcome to Robocomm 4.1!
  6.

  8.  │     NEW USER?    Robocomm 4.1 comes to you in two archive files,       │
  9.  │                  ROBO41-A.ZIP and ROBO41-B.ZIP.  You will need both    │
  10.  │                  of these files to properly install the software.      │
  11.  │                  Unzip both files into a \ROBO subdirectory and then   │
  12.  │                  consult ROBOCOMM.DOC for configuration instructions.  │
  13.  │                  The file ROBOCOMM.HST details the changes in the 4.1  │
  14.  │                  maintenance release that are not included in the      │
  15.  │                  other documentation files.                            │

  17.  │     UPGRADING    There is a special file for upgrading from version    │
  18.  │          FROM    4.0, called ROBO41-U.ZIP.  If you have access to      │
  19.  │  VERSION 4.0?    that file, you should use it to upgrade your initial  │
  20.  │                  installation.  See the readme.1st file in that ZIP    │
  21.  │                  for further instructions.  If you do not have access  │
  22.  │                  to that file, then you may unzip both the A and B     │
  23.  │                  zip files into your Robocomm directory, overwriting   │
  24.  │                  files when prompted.  Before running Robocomm 4.1     │
  25.  │                  for the first time, you should erase "HELP.NTX" and   │
  26.  │                  "I_*.DBF".  See ROBOCOMM.HST for changes in v. 4.1.   │

  28.  │     UPGRADING    Unzip ROBO41-A.ZIP and ROBO41-B.ZIP into your         │
  29.  │          FROM    existing Robocomm directory, overwriting files when   │
  30.  │  VERSION 3.x?    prompted to do so.  Then, run ROBOCOMM.EXE and your   │
  31.  │                  data files will be converted to the new format        │
  32.  │                  automatically.  See ROBO40.HST for changes in the     │
  33.  │                  4.0 version, and ROBOCOMM.HST for changes in the 4.1  │
  34.  │                  version.                                              │

  36.  │      UPGRADING   Sorry -- But, no automatic upgrade procedure is       │
  37.  │           FROM   available.  You should install the 4.1 version into   │
  38.  │    VERSION 2.x   a new subdirectory, re-enter your BBS data, and then  │
  39.  │    OR EARLIER?   start fresh with the 4.1 version.                     │
