  1. Welcome to the {COMMO} host mode.
  2.  
  3. This help screen will describe all of the available options on
  4. the host main menu and there exact function.
  5.  
  6. Access DOS Menu:
  7.  
  8. This menu selection allows you to enter a sub-menu that allows you to
  9. change the current drive/directory, shell to DOS, and more.  This is a secured
  10. (password protected) menu item.
  11.  
  12. Chat with Sysop:
  13.  
  14. This command will allow you to chat with the sysop.
  15.  
  16. Download a File:
  17.  
  18. This command will allow you to download files that are
  19. found in the current directory.  You are first asked for the name of the file
  20. to download.  Once this is entered, you are presented with a menu of protocol
  21. options.  Select the appropriate protocol and follow the necessary prompts.

  23. File list:
  24.  
  25. This command does a directory of the current directory.
  26.  
  27. Good Bye:
  28.  
  29. This command logs you off.

  31. Help:
  32.  
  33. This command will display this help screen.

  35. Time Online:
  36.  
  37. This option will tell you the current date and time.  It also tells you how
  38. long you have been on line.  If a limit has been set by the sysop you will then
  39. see the amount of time that you have left on line.

  41. Shut down Host:
  42.  
  43. This command takes down the host but requires a password before this
  44. will take place.
  45.  
  46. Timed Shut Down:
  47.  
  48. This command will also shutdown the host but will bring it back up at
  49. the specified time.

  51. Upload a File:
  52.  
  53. This command will allow you to upload files to the host.  Four transfer
  54. protocols are available.  Select the one you require and follow the prompts.

  56. View Archive:
  57.  
  58. This option will ask for a given filename and will then display the
  59. contents of this file as though it were an archive file.  This is
  60. accomplished by using the RV utility.

  62. Expert Toggle:
  63.  
  64. This command toggles between expert and novice mode. This command is
  65. also seen in many other submenus in this host mode.
