  1. Instructions for MicroTN.exe  - TSR version of Tn3270.
  2.  
  3. 1. Use a minimal config.tel file, take out any host you will not be connecting
  4.    to, all options that don't apply to 3270 emulation, nameserver info, etc.
  5.  
  6. 2. You must place the name and hostip of your destination in the config.tel file.
  7.  
  8. 3. You must use a packet driver.
  9.  
  10. 4. Usage:
  11.     microtn [-h config.fil] [-r] [ hostname ]
  12.  
  13. 5. The -r switch is required to make it resident, otherwise it will not be
  14.    resident.
  15.  
  16. 6. hostname is optional.
  17.  
  18. 7. In resident mode:
  19.     ALT-RIGHT_SHIFT     pops up tn3270
  20.     ALT-B            pops back to DOS
  21.     ALT-X            closes current connection
  22.     ALT-P            sets the capture file name.
  23.     ALT-M            displays free memory.
  24.     ALT-U            unloads program, if at the Enter Host prompt

  26. 8. In non resident mode:
  27.     ALT-X            closes current connection, exits program
  28.     ALT-P            sets the capture file name.
  29.     ALT-M            displays free memory.
  30.     ALT-U            exits program, if at the Enter Host prompt
  31.     <ESC>            exits program, if at the Enter host prompt
  32.  
  33. Note:
  34.     Video page 4 is used by the program to store the 3720 screen, this
  35.     may interfere w/ your DOS software if run in resident mode.  
  36.     Also, if you pop up over a screen that has no cursor, then no cursor
  37.     will appear in tn3270.
  38.  
  39.     Finally, you can not run other TCP programs if you have microtn loaded
  40.     as a TSR, use ALT-X and ALT-U to unload the program.
