- Instructions for MicroTN.exe - TSR version of Tn3270.

- 1. Use a minimal config.tel file, take out any host you will not be connecting
- to, all options that don't apply to 3270 emulation, nameserver info, etc.

- 2. You must place the name and hostip of your destination in the config.tel file.

- 3. You must use a packet driver.

- 4. Usage:
- microtn [-h config.fil] [-r] [ hostname ]

- 5. The -r switch is required to make it resident, otherwise it will not be
- resident.

- 6. hostname is optional.

- 7. In resident mode:
- ALT-RIGHT_SHIFT pops up tn3270
- ALT-B pops back to DOS
- ALT-X closes current connection
- ALT-P sets the capture file name.
- ALT-M displays free memory.
- ALT-U unloads program, if at the Enter Host prompt

- 8. In non resident mode:
- ALT-X closes current connection, exits program
- ALT-P sets the capture file name.
- ALT-M displays free memory.
- ALT-U exits program, if at the Enter Host prompt
- <ESC> exits program, if at the Enter host prompt

- Note:
- Video page 4 is used by the program to store the 3720 screen, this
- may interfere w/ your DOS software if run in resident mode.
- Also, if you pop up over a screen that has no cursor, then no cursor
- will appear in tn3270.

- Finally, you can not run other TCP programs if you have microtn loaded
- as a TSR, use ALT-X and ALT-U to unload the program.
