  26.   8. 1.22 had a problem because the receiver timed out when sending an
  27.      upload file header. This caused 2 good headers to be sent. The second
  28.      header would get rejected because a 0 length file had been created
  29.      from the first header. BiModem now tests upload headers to make sure
  30.      they are not duplicate headers sent due to timeouts. If it's a duplicate
  31.      it is ignored.

  33.   8. The timeout on the upload header was lengthened. Some systems were
  34.      found to have enormous lists of directories to scan for rejections, and
  35.      it took these systems a long time to determine if a file was a duplicate
  36.      or not. To facilitate these systems we lengthened the timeout value to 30
  37.      seconds instead of 10. It's still shorter than it was in 1.20 (it was 40
  38.      seconds there). The system I tested this on had hundreds of rejection
  39.      directories on a Novel network, and 30 seconds was ample time for it to
  40.      check for duplicates.

  42.   9. The phone #, estimated time, and estimated CPS is now displayed correctly
  43.      when toggling between quiet mode and non-quiet mode (Alt/Q).

  45.  10. BiModem will now flag transfer status' as bad (aborted) for files that
  46.      terminate due to timeout or bad disk reads or writes.

  48.  11. Once again we had to increase security because of a known hacker program.
  49.      Anyone knowing the author of BiFix.Exe and wishing to testify against
  50.      him should contact Erik Labs. This constant hacker deterring is costing
  51.      both Erik Labs and you the user of BiModem.
