  4. If you've been a user here before, and Opus doesn't
  5. recognize your name, several things could have happened:

  7.         You may have entered your name incorrectly.
  8.  
  9.         You may have not called within the last 90 days or
  10.         so.
  11.  
  12.         I may have messed up your user record when I
  13.         switched to the new Opus beta software.
  14.

  17. If you haven't been a user here before, there's some things
  18. you should know:
  19.  
  20.         I prefer my users to NOT use handles or aliases.
  21.         There are certain areas on the board where aliases
  22.         are permitted, but most of the areas are "real-name"
  23.         only.
  24.  
  25.         This board is primarily a message-based board.
  26.         Files are, to me, a secondary concern at best.

  30. If you want to register as a new user, enter "y" when you
  31. are returned to the "Register as a new user" question.
  32.  
  33. If you don't want to register as a new user, enter "N" when
  34. you return to the "Register as a new user" question.  If
  35. you haven't called before and don't want to register, simply
  36. hang up.  Opus can recover quite easily from such hangups.
