  1. To those of my users who have previously been on:  the user
  2. file was accidentally erased today (and, no, I didn't keep
  3. a backup!), so you'll have to log on again.  I apoligize for
  4. the inconvenience.

  6. A password must be a single word (NO SPACES). It must be as long
  7. as 4 characters, and can be as long as 15 characters, and can
  8. include letters or numbers. There is NO difference between
  9. uppercase and lower-case letters.
  10.  
  11. Now, you need to select your secret password.
  12.  
  13. Hints:
  14.    1. Write down your password so you'll remember it next time.
  15.    2. Don't use the same password on more than one system.
  16.    3. For added security, use a long password (at least 6 characters).
  17.    4. Passwords consisting of two words separated by a non-space character
  18.       are easy to remember and hard to break.
