  4. ***  Versions of DOS (4.01 and 5.0) can cause an error to appear onto the
  5.      screen upon initial use of DAYO SMS. The program gets an error trying
  6.      to create the following subdirectories in the DAYO SMS directory:
  7.  
  8.      \DAYOSMS\DEFCON
  9.      \DAYOSMS\DEFCONF
  10.      \DAYOSMS\DEFCONV
  11.      \DAYOSMS\DEFCONX
  12.  
  13.      We recommend that you create these subdirectories PRIOR to running
  14.      DAYO SMS for the first time!  Use the DOS command 'MD' to do it...
  15.  
  16.      Note, running the program 5 times usually will result in the creation
  17.      of the  aforementioned subdirectories. Press  'Alt C' to break out of
  18.      the program when it has an error...   Hope to solve this problem soon!

  21.      The DAYO module on this disk is in a self-extracting compressed format!
  22.  
  23.      The size of the uncompressed files will exceed the size of this floppy
  24.   disk!
  25.  
  26.      Most DAYO modules require the use of a hard disk, so you will need to copy
  27.   the contents of this disk onto your hard disk, preferably into a sub
  28.   directory ( ie: \DAYOSMS\ ).

  30.      Other requirements: IBM Compatible, 640k RAM, DOS 3.3 or above
  31.  
  32. ***  We get numerous calls from new users because of (or lack of) their
  33.      CONFIG.SYS file. The file:  CONFIG.SYS  must exist on your boot
  34.      disk/drive, and must have (as a minimum), BUFFERS=10, and FILES=99.
  35.      Run a DAYO program to produce this file should you not have one, or
  36.      do not know how to create/edit it.

  39.      IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT EACH DAYO MODULE HAVE ITS OWN DIRECTORY:

  64.      HOME DIRECTORIES FOR THE DATABASES

  66.      Every database is 'assigned' a DAYO module/directory as its 'home base'.
  67.   Knowing the location of the databases is crucial to integration of all the
  68.   modules. For example, to make all modules use the same customer database
  69.   (CUSTOMER.DBF), the 'CUSTOMER DATABASE LOCATION' option must be correctly
  70.   set in the Configuration Menu of each module that uses that database.
