2606.  - On occasion (maybe an under statement), index files will get corrupted,
2607.    especially on networks. To 'fix' a corrupted index requires that everyone
2608.    'get out of' the DAYO databases, and then perform a reindexing (actually a
2609.    recreation of the indexes). The reindex is accomplished by running the DAYO
2610.    Price Book program with a parameter of 'INDEX' (or using DAYO X).

2632.  - Indexes are recreated once every day. This is automatically performed by the
2633.    first user to run DAYO Price Book. This process will take more time as your
2634.    files get larger. This process should take place daily, but you can run it
2635.    at night with a batch file that waits until after midnight (ie: DAYO Clock),
2636.    or a with most scheduling programs. All other users and computers must be
2637.    out of the databases, or the procedure will not occur properly. Remember to
2638.    'flag' the files sharable, readable and writable.

2640.  - Backups of your data and configuration files should take place daily! You
2641.    have no doubt heard many scare stories. They are all true! The key files
2642.    that need to be backed up all have the extension of .DBF, and .CFG. The
2643.    .DBF files are your databases. The .CFG file(s) contain your configuration
2644.    information (as seen in the Configuration module).
  2645.
2646.  - If you are on a network, it is NOT recommended that you use dBase III+ with
2647.    the databases. It may write an end of file marker not always recognized by
2648.    DAYO. Appending additional records to the database after this point often
2649.    leads/creates a 'bad record' in the database.
  2650.
2651.  - If you must use dBase with DAYO Price Book, be sure to SET EXCLUSIVE OFF
2652.    before you open ANY databases. This will allow the opened databases to be
2653.    shared, and more importantly, prevent a user (or all users!) from
  2654.    'crashing'!
  2655.
2656.  - If the SIMPLE EDITOR tends to 'hang' your CPU, even on small files, then
