  3.                             Painless Payroll
  4.                             Features Listing

  6.      Painless Payroll is a fully integrated accounting(shareware)
  7.      package. The modules included consist of: Generation, Reports,
  8.      Files, and Closing. This package contains federal and all 50
  9.      states withholding tables.
  10.  
  11.      Generation:
  12.        This module allows you to generate payroll for all your
  13.        employees. You can have the program simply generate the default
  14.        earnings or you have the option to enter pay amounts. You can
  15.        print a payroll worksheet listing all the withholdings and
  16.        liabilities that have been generated. You then have the ability
  17.        to print checks. The check formats are user definable. This
  18.        module also allows you to print a Child Support Report, and an
  19.        Employee Allotment Report. After all the payroll reports have
  20.        been printed and verified, you can post the payroll data to the
  21.        Painless Accounting General Ledger.

  23.      Reports:
  24.        This module allows you to print an employee listing, employee
  25.        labels, department listing, paycodes listing, allotments
  26.        listing, bank listing, QTD Report, and a YTD Report. All
  27.        reports can be display on the screen, save to a file, or
  28.        printed to the printer.

  30.      Files:
  31.        This module is used to setup and modify your data files. This
  32.        module contains an Employee File, Department File, Paycode
  33.        File, Allotments File, Banks File, General/ID File, and Tax
  34.        Tables File.

  36.      Closing:
  37.        This module allows you to close your payroll data for the
  38.        quarter or year. You also have the ability to print W2's and
  39.        1099's from this option.

  41.      Utilities:
  42.        This module allows you to create your own customize colors. You
  43.        also have the ability to reindex your files and display the
  44.        file sizes. You can also select your printer from a list of
  45.        over 60 printers. This module also allows you to setup your own
  46.        customize check printing formats. You can also backup and
  47.        restore your data, or enter a DOS window through this option.
