-
- This program requires a 286 or higher processor. May not work
- correctly on slower machines using EMM386.EXE. You can generally
- tell its the memory manager thats at fault if the digitized speech
- sounds as if in slowwww motion. If so, try booting without EMM386,
- TimeTalk should then work ok.
-
- Syntax: TT [ENTER] <- will speak the current system time.
-
- TimeTalk speaks the current time as 11:06am.
-
- Speaks "The time is" "Eleven" "Zero" "Six" "AM".
-
- You can also display the spoken line by using the "P" switch.
-
- Syntax: TT /P or TT P [ENTER] <- will speak and display time.
-
- To speak a single BIN file type: SAY filename.bin [ENTER]
- Where filename is any of the included files that ends in ".BIN"
-
- All included files must be located in the same directory and
- said directory must be the current directory for this program
- to work properly.
-
- TimeTalk was tested on many different machines and speaks the
- time quite clearly. I did find that some computers place the
- speaker near the back of the case with the result that the
- speech is difficult to hear. The only solution for fixing this
- problem would be to open the case and relocate the speaker near
- the front of the box somewhere.
