  7. Aunt Annie's Crafts requires Windows 3.1 and a VGA or SVGA monitor to run.
  8. Additional requirements are 1MB of RAM, 1.5MB of available disk storage.
  9. A mouse is also highly recommended.

  11. Installation

  14. Aunt Annie's Crafts can be installed from a floppy disk or a hard disk
  15. subdirectory. The floppy disk distribution of Aunt Annie's Crafts has
  16. 23 files:

  18.     ANNIE.WR_ -    brief introduction to Aunt Annie's Crafts
  19.     ORDER.FR_ -    SHAREWARE registration form
  20.     FILE_ID.DI_ -    brief description of program for vendors and BBS's
  21.     VENDOR.DO_ -    information for SHAREWARE vendors
  22.     ANNIE.EX_ -     Aunt Annie's Crafts
  23.     ANNIE.HL_ -     Aunt Annie's Crafts Help
  24.     SAMPLER.AA_ -    Paper Project Sampler Book
  25.     SAMPLER.HL_ -    Paper Project Sampler Book Help

  42. Proceed to Running SETUP if this is what is on your disk.

  44. If you received a ZIP file, create a temporary directory on your hard disk and
  45. unZIP the files to this directory.

  47. Running SETUP
  48. -------------

  50. Aunt Annie's Crafts provides a setup program to install the program for
  51. use from Windows.  The process takes about 5 minutes.
  52.  
  53. 1. Start Windows.
  54. 2. Switch to the Windows Program Manager.
  55. 3. Select RUN from the Program Manager's File menu.
  56. 4. Type A:SETUP or c:\TEMP\SETUP in the text box.
  57.    - For floppy installs use the drive letter where the floppy disk is located.
  58.    - For hard disk installs use the drive letter and temporary directory
  59.      filename where you unZIPped the files.
  60. 5. Click OK.  The SETUP program will bring up a window.
  61. 6. The setup program will ask you to enter the path where you want 
  62.    Aunt Annie's Crafts installed. Click CONTINUE to accept the default
  63.    directory of \ANNIE.
  64.  
  65. Aunt Annie's Crafts and the Paper Project Sampler Book are now installed on
  66. your system.  Double click on the Aunt Annie program icon in the Aunt Annie
  67. program group to start Aunt Annie's Crafts. Double click the manual icon
  68. for a short introduction to Aunt Annie's Crafts.  More detailed information
  69. is available in the online help.

  71. If you created a temporary install directory on your hard disk, you may delete
  72. it now.

  74. Click on the Help button for information on how to use Aunt Annie's Crafts.
  75. Once you are in help, click on the Contents button and then pick a topic to 
  76. read.

  78. Try Aunt Annie's Crafts. Do some of the projects or all of the projects.  See
