- UnInstalling CD-Quick Cache for Windows 95
-
- CD-Quick has an easy-to-use Uninstall option that's available from
- within QuickMon and fully documented in the manual (CDQUICK.HLP) in
- the section, "How to...Uninstall the software". This will delete
- all files. This feature can also be activated from the "Add/Remove
- Programs" choice in the Windows 95 Control Panel.
-
- If you've already deleted QuickMon, you must reinstall CD-Quick and
- then use the uninstall option we provide. If it's impossible to
- reinstall the software, these are the files you need to delete
- (we do NOT recommend this method):
-
- \CDQuick\*.*
- \Windows\System\VCDQD32.DLL
- \Windows\System\Iosubsys\VCDQD.VXD
- \VCDQD.SWP
- \WINDOWS\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp\QuickMon for CD-Quick Cache.LNK
-
- If you use the Windows Explorer to navigate and delete, be sure it
- is set up to display ALL files. This choice is listed in the menu
- under View and Options.
-
- In most cases VCDQD.SWP will be in use by VCDQD.VXD, so you need to
- first delete VCDQD.VXD, reboot and then delete VCDQD.SWP.
