  183.                     INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  184.

  186. This product requires Windows 95 or NT, the Borland Database
  187. Engine - which you can download from our web site, and
  188. aproximately 2.52 Mb of free disk space.
  189.  
  190. It is distributed with an installation program which ensures
  191. hassle free installation and setup.
  192.  
  193. To install the product run the installation program "einst.exe",
  194. by your prefered method. The installation program will prompt you
  195. for any required information, and provide instructions as required.
  196.  
  197. Installation will create a program group for the installed
  198. product, and the necessary icons will be placed in the program
  199. group. The product and your system will be fully configured and
  200. ready to run.
  201.  
  202. If you wish to remove the product from your system, simply run
  203. the uninstallation program "euninst.exe" by running the
  204. shortcut in the application program group. Alternatively
  205. you can uninstall it with the Windows Add/Remove Program
  206. utility. Either option will remove the product from your system
  207. and make the necessary changes to your operating environment.
  208.  
  209. Please notice..., we recommend that you don't remove the
  210. product manually. If you have not kept a copy of your original
  211. distribution or of the uninstallation program "euninst.exe",
  212. you can pick it up for free from our web site or order it
  213. directly from us by e-mail or postal mail service.

  215. Product registration is voluntary and free, consequently it's
  216. not required, however registration is required subscribe to the
  217. InteliTech electronic newsletter, and to get technical support.
  218.  
  219. To register, write down the "Key" and "Serial" numbers provided
  220. during the installation. If you did not write them down
  221. check the "About..." of your application, where you will see the
  222. "Key"...., we will send you back your serial number when confirming
  223. your registration.
  224.  
  225. If you're re-installing or making multiple installations please
  226. type your "Key" and "Serial" numbers when they are requested,
  227. instead of accepting the one proposed.

  229. Then you can either register online, using the corresponding option
  230. in the "Internet" menu of the application, go manually to our web
  231. site at http://www.intelitech.com or cut out the template bellow
  232. - between the dotted lines, fill it in, and e-mail it to us.

  261.                         USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

  264. Simple online documentation is available from the Help Topics menu
  265. option. Registered users will be notified of updates as/when they're
  266. published.

  268. Notice the following:
  269.  
  270. Installation by default does not overwrite existing data files,
  271. so if you wish to start with empty data files, you need to uninstall
  272. first.
  273.  
  274. When you have finished installing this product, it's ready
  275. to run and use. However you must have installed the 32 bit version
  276. of the Borland Database Engine. You don't need to configure
  277. anything in the BDE, since the ePIM applications take care of
  278. configuring the BDE as necessary.

  280. If you do not have a license for the BDE, you may obtain
  281. the redistributable version from the Intelitech web site, at
  282. http://www.intelitch.com.
