[ITAL] That doesn't stop the students though who will book any local club at the drop of a hat.[EITAL][PARA][BOLD]Music venues:[EBOLD] The Pavilions in the Union has free weekly band nights and more live sounds at weekends.[PARA][BOLD]Cabaret:[EBOLD] At the Union in Plymouth, there are about 3 cabaret nights a term (recently Jim Tavare, Bob Downe).[PARA][BOLD]Others:[EBOLD] Balls galore, especially the Rag Valentine Ball and the Union Mayfair Ball.[HDNG]EATING OUT:[EHDNG][PARA]Around the sites, there are 8 University-run refectories and 1 at the Union. Students can also forage for fodder and scavenge for scoff in the local pubs and restaurants which are mostly English, although there's also a flurry of curries.
