[HDNG]INTRODUCTION:[EHDNG][PARA][GRPH]S2[EGRPH][STAT][BULL] Recent successes: nothing special [ESTAT][PARA][ITAL]Rivalries between colleges never show themselves better than when students don boots with bobbles on the bottom or other sporting gear. Competition is the order of the day, and with only 4 colleges, most students can experience the joys of team triumph on a fairly regular basis. On a national level, their joys are fewer and farther between. The slightly more than adequate facilities are [EITAL]all on campus and shared between colleges.[HDNG]SPORTS FACILITIES:[EHDNG][PARA]Playing fields; sports centre including sports hall (an extension is planned), archery range, cricket nets, gym, 2 multigyms, weights, boxing ring, sauna and solarium; 6 squash courts; athletics field; tennis courts; flood-lit all-weather pitch; climbing wall; running track. A swimming pool is planned. The city adds a croquet lawn, swimming pool and golf course [ITAL]and the coast isn't too far away.[EITAL][HDNG]SPORTING CLUBS:[EHDNG][PARA]Boxing; Caving; Parachuting; Paintball; Pot-holing; Rowing; Women's Rugby; Skydiving; Surfing; Tae Kwan Do; T'ai Chi Ch'uan Volleyball; Ten Pin Bowling; Yoga. The fencing club is called the 'Flashing Blades' after the [ITAL]superb[EITAL] French TV show.[HDNG]ATTRACTIONS:[EHDNG][PARA]Dog racing track; windsurfing at Whitstable.[PARA][PARA]
