There is, however, an ever-changing set of cheaper hang-outs where the latest sounds are available without the latest prices. The Summer Ball is held at the Kensington Park Hotel, and they have a jazz band in at Christmas.[HDNG]EATING OUT:[EHDNG][PARA]The refectory (8.30am-7pm) offers school-dinnerish grub, but at the most sensible prices around. Kensington has plenty of extravagant wine bars and delicatessens, as well as Garfunkels and numerous pizza places. The Next cafe is good for coffee 'n' buns.
