  1. END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR 
  2. MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER
  3.  
  4. IMPORTANT READ CAREFULLY: This Microsoft
  5. End-User License Agreement (EULA) is a
  6. legal agreement between you (either an
  7. individual or a single entity) and Microsoft
  8. Corporation for the Microsoft software
  9. product identified above, which includes
  10. computer software and associated media and
  11. printed materials (if any), and may include
  12. online or electronic documentation (SOFTWARE
  13. PRODUCT or SOFTWARE). By installing, copying,
  14. or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT,
  15. you agree to be bound by the terms of this
  16. EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of
  17. this Agreement, you are not authorized to
  18. use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
  19.  
  20. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by
  21. copyright laws and international copyright
  22. treaties, as well as other intellectual
  23. property laws and treaties. The SOFTWARE
  24. PRODUCT is licensed, not sold.
  25.  
  26. 1. GRANT OF LICENSE. This EULA grants you
  27. the following rights:
  28.     Use and Copy. Microsoft grants to you
  29. the right to use copies of the SOFTWARE
  30. PRODUCT only in conjunction with a validly
  31. licensed copy of a Microsoft« operating system
  32. product (e.g., Windows« 95; Windows NT«).
  33. You may use and make copies of the
  34. SOFTWARE PRODUCT for use on all computers for
  35. which you have licensed a Microsoft operating
  36. system product.  You
  37. may also make copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT
  38. for backup and archival purposes.
  39.  
  40. 2.  RESTRICTIONS.
  41. --You must maintain all copyright notices on
  42. all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.   
  43. --You may not distribute copies of the
  44. SOFTWARE PRODUCT to third parties.   
  45. --You may not reverse engineer, decompile,
  46. or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except
  47. and only to the extent that such activity is
  48. expressly permitted by applicable law
  49. notwithstanding this limitation.
  50. --You may not rent or lease the SOFTWARE 
  51. PRODUCT. 
  52. --You may permanently transfer all of your
  53. rights under this EULA only in conjunction
  54. with a permanent transfer of your validly
  55. licensed copy or copies of Microsoft operating
  56. system product(s).
  57.  
  58. 3.  Termination. Your rights under this EULA
  59. terminate upon the termination of your Microsoft
  60. operating system product EULA, or without prejudice 
  61. to any other rights, Microsoft may terminate this
  62. EULA if you fail to comply with the terms
  63. and conditions of this EULA. In such event,
  64. you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE
  65. PRODUCT.

  67. 4.  COPYRIGHT. All title and copyrights in
  68. and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and any copies
  69. thereof are owned by Microsoft or its
  70. suppliers. All title and intellectual property
  71. rights in and to the content which may be accessed
  72. through use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is the
  73. property of the respective content owner and
  74. may be protected by applicable copyright or
  75. other intellectual property laws and treaties.
  76. This EULA grants you no rights to use such
  77. content.
  78.  
  79. 5.  U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS.
  80. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is provided with
  81. RESTRICTED RIGHTS. Use, duplication, or
  82. disclosure by the Government is subject to
  83. restrictions as set forth in subparagraph
  84. (c)(1)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data
  85. and Computer Software clause at DFARS
  86. 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs (c)(1) and
  87. (2) of the Commercial Computer Software
  88. Restricted Rights at 48 CFR 52.227-19, as
  89. applicable. Manufacturer is Microsoft
  90. Corporation/One Microsoft Way/Redmond, WA
  91. 98052-6399.

  93. 6.  NO WARRANTY. ANY USE OF THE SOFTWARE
  94. PRODUCT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.  THE
  95. SOFTWARE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED FOR USE
  96. ONLY WITH MICROSOFT OPERATING SYSTEM PRODUCTS. 
  97. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE
  98. LAW, MICROSOFT AND ITS SUPPLIERS
  99. DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS,
  100. EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING,
  101. BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES
  102. OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A
  103. PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

  105. 7.  NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL
  106. DAMAGES.
  107. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY
  108. APPLICABLELAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL
  109. MICROSOFT OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE
  110. FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT,
  111. OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER
  112. (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES
  113. FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS
  114. INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS
  115. INFORMATION, OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY
  116. LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR
  117. INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT,
  118. EVEN IF MICROSOFT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF
  119. THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
  120. BECAUSE SOME STATES AND JURISDICTIONS
  121. DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR
  122. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR
  123. CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES,
  124. THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY
  125. TO YOU.

  127. 8.  LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.  MICROSOFT'S
  128. ENTIRE LIABILITY AND YOUR EXCLUSIVE
  129. REMEDY UNDER THIS EULA SHALL NOT EXCEED
  130. FIVE DOLLARS (US$5.00).

  132. 9. MISCELLANEOUS
  133. This EULA is governed by the laws of the
  134. State of Washington, U.S.A.
