  7. The Multilingual Speaking Clock is released as freeware, which
  8. means you are free to use it and distribute it to others - as
  9. long as you do not modify any of the files. You are not allowed
  10. to sell the program! Read more in the help file.

  12. HELP IS AVAILABLE
  13. The program is very simple to install and straightforward to
  14. use. Full information on how to use it and how to solve problems
  15. is included in the help file.

  17. HOW TO SETUP
  18. To setup the program, just unzip the archive (which you probably
  19. already did, since you are reading this file) and put all the
  20. files in a directory of your choice. Double-click the "SPCLOCK.EXE"
  21. or create a shortcut to that file.

  23. IF YOU ARE UPGRADING FROM VERSION 1.0
  24. Please erase all the files from the previous version. Unzip the new
  25. files into the same directory. Note that the language DLL's have
  26. new names, and only the English DLL is included with the program.
  27. Read next section for info on how to add the other languages.

  29. HOW TO ADD LANGUAGES
  30. Just download the language you want, unzip the DLL-file and place
  31. it in the same directory as the program. When you start the program,
  32. added languages will be automatically detected. Please note that
  33. you should also always download the files LANG.DAT, as this file is
  34. updated every time a new language is available. If this file is
  35. too old, the new language will not be available in the program.

  37. HOW TO UNINSTALL
  38. Just remove the directory. If you are familiar with the Registry
  39. Editor you can also remove the registry keys used by the program.
  40. Find the key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software". Delete the "Lux Aeterna"
  41. key and all subkeys. If you are not familiar with the Registry Editor,
  42. just leave the keys there (they will do no harm).
