  5.  Welcome to Start98 v1.x, an Start Button Patcher.

  8.  Start98 allows you, to change the 'Start' button in Windows 95.
  9.  
  10.  To be able to use Start98, you need these things:

  12.  Only Windows 95, Windows 98 english or german versions!
  13.  min. 800 x 600 x 64k colors,
  14.  small fonts(!)
  15.  
  16.  How to Install/Run Start98:

  18.  Simply run Start.exe, install it somewhere. Once running Start98.exe,
  19.  you can click on my StartButtonIcon - it creates a shortcut to your Desktop!

  22.  This package should contain the following files:

  24.  Start98.exe            32-bit version
  25.  Readme.txt             this file
  26.  versions.txt           version history

  28.  How to UnInstall Start98:
  29.  Simply delete these 3 files.

  32.  Once you have installed Start98, you can run it, name your personal Start Button.
