  13. HDSleep gibt Ihnen die Kontrolle ⁿber das Power-Management Ihrer
  14. IDE- und Enhanced-IDE-Festplattenlaufwerke, und zwar selbst dann wenn
  15. das BIOS Ihres Computers keine Power-Management-Funktionen
  16. unterstⁿtzt.
  17. Sie k÷nnen sehr flexibel Wartezeiten fⁿr einzelne oder alle Laufwerke
  18. einstellen und mit einem Mausklick das Power-Management ein- oder
  19. ausschalten.
  20. HDSleep arbeitet nur mit IDE- bzw. Enhanced-IDE-kompatiblen
  21. Festplattenlaufwerken zusammen. Verwenden Sie HDSleep nicht fⁿr
  22. SCSI-Laufwerke.

  36. Diese Software wird in Form eines selbstentpackenden Archives
  37. geliefert Der ⁿbliche Dateiname ist HDSLEEP@.EXE

  39. Um die Software zu installieren, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

  41. - Legen Sie im Explorer einen neuen Ordner als Arbeitsverzeichnis an.
  42. - Kopieren Sie die Archivdatei in diesen Ordner.
  43. - Doppelklicken Sie die Archivdatei, um die darin enthaltenen Dateien
  44.   zu entpacken.
  45. - Doppelklicken Sie auf die neue Datei SETUP.EXE, um sie auszufⁿhren.
  46. - Das Setupprogramm kopiert die ben÷tigten Dateien und startet
  47.   HDSleep.

  49. DEINSTALLATION

  51. Um diese Software von Ihrem Computer wieder zu entfernen, gehen
  52. Sie wie folgt vor:

  54. - ╓ffnen Sie den Ordner Systemsteuerung (im Startmenⁿ unter
  55.   Einstellungen).
  56. - Doppelklicken Sie das Symbol Software.
  57. - WΣhlen Sie die Seite Installation/Deinstallation.
  58. - Suchen Sie in der angezeigten Liste den Eintrag "Hard Disk Sleeper"
  59.   und doppelklicken Sie auf diesen Eintrag.
  60. - Das Setupprogramm entfernt alle zugeh÷rigen Dateien aus Ihrem
  61.   System.

  67. With HDSleep you can control the Power Management of your IDE- and
  68. Enhanced-IDE harddisk drives even if your Computer-BIOS does not
  69. support Power Management.
  70. You are able to define suspend times for one or all drives and you
  71. can activate or deactivate the Power Management of your harddisk
  72. drives just with a mouse click.
  73. HDSleep works with IDE- and Enhanced-IDE-compatible drives only.
  74. Do not use HDSleep for SCSI drives.

  89. This software is shipped as a self-extracting archive. The usual
  90. file name is HDSLEEP@.EXE

  92. To install this software:

  94. - Create a new folder as working directory.
  95. - Copy the archive to this folder.
  96. - Double-click the archive to decompress it. This will create several
  97.   new files.
  98. - Double-click the file SETUP.EXE to execute it.
  99. - Setup will copy necessary files and launch HDSleep.

  101. DEINSTALLATION

  103. To remove this software from your computer:

  105. - Open the Control Panel (on the Start menu choose Settings, Control
  106.   Panel).
  107. - Double-click the icon "Add/Remove programs".
  108. - Search in the list for the item "Hard Disk Sleeper" and
  109.   double-click it.
  110. - Setup will remove all accompanying files.
