  15.  INSTALLING
  16.  Unzip the downloaded fastpl30.zip, then double click on
  17.  the unzipped Setup.exe file to start the installation
  18.  process, then just follow the instructions on screen.. 
  19.  
  20.  FAST PLANS is an automated house layout design programme.
  21. it is very easy to use, and will produce professional
  22. quality layouts.
  23.  There are a large number of options available,
  24. some are customisable ( become the default settings),
  25. while others are available in the various dialogue boxes.
  26.  If you know your external wall dimensions, you can 
  27. produce drawings directly in Fast Plans without going in 
  28. to....
  29.  
  30.  EASY LAYOUT, this sub programme works inside Fast Plans, 
  31. use this to design your rooms layout, by dragging rooms
  32. around, adjusting them until you are satified with the 
  33. design & sizes,then input the external wall width and 
  34. number of lines, and mark the internal corners of the 
  35. building (these will probably be corners of rooms - but
  36. do not have to be), 
  37. the basic layout plan will then appear,
  38. click the Return to Fast Plans Icon to add all your doors, 
  39. windows, more rooms, partitions or library items.

  41.  SUNTRAK is a sub programme that shows the sun's rays
  42. as they affect any design produced with Easy Layout, or 
  43. from Fast Plans, if you designed with Easy Layout you can
  44. return to your room layout and alter it to suit the sun.

  46. Although all programmes are very easy to follow, 
  47. the eye level guide line shows what action to take,
  48. and there is a comprehensive on line help system,
  49. including context help (F1 key) available at all times. 
  50. there are no printed manuals.

  52. IMPROVEMENTS IN THIS VERSION
  53. Slightly altered interface, Line function & Line with Text
  54. are now separated - no more messages! and best of all, 
  55. very, very fast external wall drawing in Fast Plans if you do
  56. not need angled external walls. Just press Enter to start,
  57. select the arrow key for the line direction, input the length,
  58. again select the arrow key for the line direction, input the length,
  59. and so on...(you still have to go in a clockwise direction).

  63.  This is a full working copy of the real programme - but
  64. with a number of functions restricted.
  65.  The Fast Plans programme is customised, in the demo 
  66. wherever you see "DEMONSTRATION ONLY",   the real 
  67. programme  replaces it with your name, exactly as shown 
  68. by you on the order form ( your name is mandatory - 
  69. the real programme will not run without it).

  102. TO USE THIS DEMO
  103.  
  104.  For best results we recommend using 800 x 600 
  105. screen resolution.
  106.  
  107.  FIRST start the programme,then click Help on the menu bar,
  108. from the drop down list select Examples, then select
  109. Example 1 and PRINT it out,
  110.  - without this you will probably be wasting you time!
  111.  Other more advanced examples, together with explanations
  112. & troubleshooting, only need reading through once you have
  113. the basics from Example 1.
  114. Two part drawings are included for people who want to try 
  115. out some of the features first. FEETDEMO.PLN & METDEMO.PLN,
  116. just follow the guide line hints, or press the F1 context help key
  117. (HELP button in dialogue boes) or use HELP/ from the menu
  118.  - remember if all else fails, read the instructions
