- Windows 95 users can add sound events to their
- system by manually editing the Win95 Registry. However,
- editing the Registry can be tricky and sometimes
- dangerous. Sound Event Editor (S.E.E.) has been created
- to make adding sound events to Windows 95 easy and
- risk-free.

- The Windows 95 operating system and a sound card that
- supports WAV files.

- Note to NT users: It has been reported (but not
- confirmed) that Sound Event Editor does NOT work
- on Windows NT.

- Removing Sound Event Editor
- ===================================================

- Well, if you're getting rid of Sound Event Editor I hope

- Regardless of your reasons, the process is quite simple.

- Removal Procedure
- =================

- Sound Event Editor can be easily be removed, like
- most Windows 95 programs, via the Control Panel
- "Add/Remove Programs" icon. Although this will
- remove Sound Event Editor from your system, it will
- NOT remove any of the sound events that have been
- installed with Sound Event Editor.

- Select a Program
- ================

- Click here, or press Alt-S, to select the program
- you wish to create sound events for. The selected
- filename must be a valid program file with the
- ".EXE" or ".SCR" extension.

- Click here or press Alt-I, to install sound events
- for the selected program.

- Delete Sound Events
- ===================

- Click here or press Alt-D, to delete all sound events
- for the selected program.

- Open Control Panel

- Click here or press Alt-C for a shortcut to the
- Control Panel "Sounds" applet to configure your
- new sound events.

- Current Selected Application

- The currently selected program filename,
- and its path will be displayed here.

- Installing and Deleting Sound Events

- Creating Program Sound Events

- Click on the "Select a Program" button.

- Select a Windows application's EXE or SCR file.

- Click on the Install Sound Events button.

- S.E.E. will then install your application's
- sound events for the selected program.

- Click on the "Open Control Panel" button to configure
- your new sound events.

- Deleting Program Sound Events

- Click on the "Select a Program" button.

- Select a Windows application's EXE or SCR file.

- Click on the Delete Sound Events button.

- S.E.E. automatically deletes all sound events for
- the selected application.
