  10. This file describes common questions and answers that might help in resolving
  11. problems in using Desktop Pizazz: Quotations. If you encounter any 
  12. problems, please refer to this file before contacting customer support.

  19. Q: When I try to run Desktop Pizazz, I get a message saying that the file
  20.    DPLAYX.DLL cannot be found. Why?
  21.  
  22. A: The file DPLAYX.DLL is a part of DirectX, and this message means that you
  23.    do not have DirectX installed on your machine. You will need to install
  24.    DirectX on your machine before being able to run Desktop Pizazz. See the 
  25.    DirectX section below for more information.

  28. Q: When I try to access the online help, I get the error message "Cannot start
  29.    HTML Help!" Why?
  30.  
  31. A: Desktop Pizazz uses a new help system called HTML Help, developed by
  32.    Microsoft. HTML Help is built into Windows 98, however for Windows 95 and
  33.    NT 4.0 users, you'll need to install HTML Help yourself if you do not have
  34.    Microsoft's Internet Explorer 4.0 already installed. Visit Microsoft's
  35.    HTML Help page at http://www.microsoft.com/workshop/author/htmlhelp/localize.asp

  42. Q: What is DirectX?
  43.  
  44. A: DirectX is a set of files (drivers) created by Microsoft that can be installed 
  45.    on your computer to allow faster game performance, standardized setup and 
  46.    communications procedures, and improved compatibility for many new software titles. 
  47.    Many of the latest computer games for Windows 95 require the use of DirectX. 
  48.    If you do not have DirectX 5.0 or later installed on your computer, then you 
  49.    will need to obtain the latest DirectX drivers and install them.

  51.    The latest version of the DirectX drivers can be found on Microsoft's web site at:

  54.    Note: You do not need to download the DirectX SDK. You only need the end-user 
  55.    DirectX drivers.

  60. A: Desktop Pizazz was written to use DirectX, and therefore requires the drivers to be 
  61.    installed on your machine. Installing DirectX is a good idea in general, as many 
  62.    other new software titles require DirectX as well.
