-
- Trouble- Here are solutions to the more common problems encountered
- shooting when trying to run ScreenDance. If you don't find an
- answer to a problem you are having, please see the tech
- support page on our web site at http://www.madeira.com,
- or send e-mail to help@madeira.com with a complete
- description of the problem and any error messages and
- error codes that are displayed.
-
- "Unhandled exception, DDManager.cpp:NNN, error code:..."
-
- If you get an error message like this with the word
- "DDManager" it most likely indicates an incompatibility
- with your video card driver and DirectDraw (part of
- DirectX). You may need to check with your computer or
- video card manufacturer to get a newer video driver. If
- that doesn't help, please send e-mail to us at
- help@madeira.com with a complete description of the error
- message and all error codes that are reported.
-
- No DirectX or "Ddraw.dll not found"
-
- If you get this error message, this means that you do not
- have DirectX installed on your machine. ScreenDance
- requires DirectX 5.0 under Windows 95, or Service Pack 3
- under Windows NT 4.0. To download DirectX go to:
- For Service Pack 3 go to:
-
- "Display driver does not support DirectDraw"
-
- If you receive an error saying that your display driver
- does not support DirectDraw, you need to check with your
- computer or video card manufacturer to get a video driver
- that supports Microsoft's DirectX.
